Great hot pool on site. Food at restaurant was great. Location awesome

Lack of heating facilities. No aircon in room. The wing we were in was quite old. Other side of accommodation had been renovated.

The hotel was wonderful, with great facilities and a lovely atmosphere, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable from start to finish. A special thank you to Milla, who was exceptionally welcoming, kind, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. She went above and beyond to make us feel valued and looked after, and her warm, friendly nature made a lasting impression. Outstanding customer service can make all the difference, and Milla is a true asset to the resort. We will definitely be staying here again in the future and would highly recommend Wairakei Resort to anyone visiting Taupล. Thank you, Milla, and the entire team, for making our stay so memorable.

"Disappointed with TV/Netflix situation"

Good faciloties

What is the point of having a Smart TV in the room with Netflix Apps etc yet the TV wont connect and play Netflix etc. Wouldnt even cast from phone...very disapoointing

"Disappointing given itโ€™s a tourist hotel"

Location and amenities you could use if you stayed more than one night

Room clean but very cold with an inefficient heater. No electric blanket or spare blanket in the room. Given a blanket when I asked and warmed up by having a bath.
