"Disappointing"

I appreciated that the host accepted our cat. The Heritage House is wonderful, a step back in time, featuring beautiful stained glass windows, history, and a bedroom with views that open up to the trees. The covered parking was convenient.

The place has so much potential, but it is not up to modern standards. The price should reflect that. The basic kitchen is poorly equipped. The fridge is whistling. Pan for one was a health hazard (non-stick surface almost gone). Garden furniture needs a proper clean-up to get rid of cobwebs and stains, and cushions should be shaken to remove dust and other scratchy twigs. We stayed for 9 days and would expect some cleaning once, or at least a vacuum cleaner at our disposal.
