"Pleasant"

Room was comfortable and warm.

Fire alarm taking over an hour to sort as no staff were at the property. Lack of reception staff makes the stay a little unwelcoming with keybox access but it is becoming the new norm.

travelled over two hours to attend important prison officer training and was disappointed with several aspects of my stay. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet the standard I expected. Upon arrival, there was no warm welcome or assistance provided, and I struggled to locate my room. Parking was also very limited and inconvenient. More concerning, the fire alarm went off at approximately 5am, and the hallways smelt strongly of smoke afterwards, which caused significant disruption and discomfort. In addition, the bed sheets in my room appeared stained, and there was no heating available in the room during my stay. Due to the number of issues experienced, I do not feel the accommodation provided was of an acceptable standard

"Basic hotel, Fire Alarm going off in the middle of the night spoilt stay"

No staff at the hotel when I checked in but codes to front door and room door were sent in advance.

Fire alarm went off at 5.30am for now reason. All guest evacuated the hotel but no communication from hotel. Waited in the cold for 45 minutes before one of the guests reset the alarm on the control panel and eventually could go back to the room.

"Okay, 3 stars is fair."

Basic rooms, bedding was clean, shower works well. Hairdryer provided.

No towels were provided in the room, our friend had luckily booked a room also and was provided with three towels so we took hers. No kettle was provided and only one mug. We were told our check in codes would be sent to us at 3pm, they had not been sent by midnight meaning we had to call reception and have them send them over late at night. One room also had no toilet roll.

"Exceptional"

The bathroom was nice and warm. Beds were comfy. Freedom of self check in and check out was good. Good parking. Great value for the money. Location great. Hairdryer and fan in room both welcome but did not use. Good tea and biscuits facilities.

Just be aware only 1 pillow. Next to motorway but double glazing dulls the sound to minimal. Corridors smelt musty , room fine though.

Nothing

The hotel did not feel safe. There was nobody there to check us in and when eventually we got hold of someone they were unsure whether the key they had was the right one (they actually said this) and then the room was grubby, the fridge hadn't been plugged in and wires were taped to the walls. The outer doorlock was broken and was part of the reason we didn't feel safe. We checked in to a different hotel and are attempting - with no success so far - to get our money back.
