The Shore at Katathani

Beautiful views and very kind service with all workers there but the rooms you can just tell are older and haven’t been updated in a very long time. Even the in-room phones look like they’re from 1990. If this resort did a revamp they would be unstoppable. Also all of the property food and neighboring restaurants were very just ok and very expensive. You have to take a cab to other areas for better local food. It’s not very walkable and you need a cab because it is one of the farthest points in Phuket but if you’re looking to just stay at the resort and utilize your villa it’s perfect.

The resort is amazing. We had a lovely villa with an amazing view of the sea and sunset. The staff were really attentive and provided excellent service. The food provided in the restaurants was really good quality and other restaurants in the neighbouring resort could also be used. A buggy service is offered to transport you to and from the villa which was a fun way to travel and have a chat with the drivers including Jonny Lamborghini who always made sure we got back safe. Our villa (Romance) came with free in villa breakfast which we used multiple times. Overall we found the experience to be good value and would recommend it.

Everything from beginning to end was absolutely amazing! Staffs were super friendly and very attentive.

I loved the quiet, beauty and serene ocean view and infinity pool in villa. the outside lounge chairs and canopy needs updating and attention to rust. Floating breakfast and Tapas not that good too much. drinks are expensive. cannot walk much up hills and need a buggy for any outings. breakfast and staff and service great.

The staff definitely gets very high marks from us. Attentive, service oriented and generally happy and kind. Our private beach/ocean villa views was spectacular. There was an area on the beach by the foot of the walking path that had trash accumulating and it was an eye sore to encounter for a highly ranked first class hotel. Hope they cleaned it up. Otherwise, our stay was very memorable, specially spending time lounging in our private heated infinity pool just watching the sunset over the Andaman Sea. We will definitely return as we enjoyed our stay at the Shore of Kathatani.

We stayed in an "in love" villa with beautiful sea views and a private infinity pool. All villas very private. Resort is quite spread out on the side of a hill, but the electric buggies drivers were alway available and made it very easy to get about. Lovey place for a quite romantic getaway

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the property was tucked away on a beautiful mountainside and bay. We did not explore outside of the hotel so it was nice that we had access to the sister property next door with additional restaurants and pools. The room was amazing, very well designed, and the bed was super comfortable. We were in a room at the very top of the hillside and on the far right, so had to call a buggy for rides to the pool and beach. By the end of the trip we braved the walk back to the room a few times but know that walking may be difficult if your room is further away. The buggies were fun and just a 5-10 min wait so not really an issue. The beach was great for swimming, but can get very crowded as it’s a public beach, however we always had good seats by the hotel pools. All in all a wonderful stay!
