Backwater Ripples Kumarakom

We stayed a week in this beautiful resort. We travel a lot and can highly recommend.. The staff were wonderful especially Sindhu and Sanjit who looked after our every need and became friends. A lovely touch is the afternoon tiffin, boat ride and live music. Great bar with sunset views. Good for bird watching.

The stay was great, my family had a lot of fun. Beautiful sunset, the mini watch tower and shikara ride and canal boat right made our travel memorable.

The atmosphere is very calm and very nice The overall experience was amazing Its a good place to come with your family

Team Backwater Ripples Kumarakom, It was truly an amazing and pleasant stay. Though this trip was not planned very perfectly by me, one of my friends referred this resort, and I am really happy that I chose this place after completing my Alleppey boathouse trip. I would like to sincerely thank the entire team at Backwater Ripples for making our stay so memorable. A special thanks to Mrs. Sindhu for the warm welcome and for explaining so many wonderful things about the canal ride, river drive, speed boat ride, bird safari, pedal boats, cruise, and the complimentary activities. Initially, I was a little hesitant about trying some of these experiences, but her guidance and support made us feel comfortable and enjoy them fully. Every day, whenever we happened to meet during our walks, she was always kind, helpful, and pleasant. I would also like to especially appreciate Ms. Krithika from the in-room dining team. She was very prompt, precise, and supportive, especially with the kids’ milk requirements and all the other room dining services. Her service was truly admirable. My sincere thanks also go to Mr. Sijo and Mr. Praveen for the wonderful canal ride experience. They explained everything so beautifully, including the backwaters, the mixing of saltwater, the different types of fish, the canals, the islands, and many other interesting details. During the village ride, they shared so much information about village life, coconut processing, coir making, mat weaving, and many other local activities. It was a very enriching and memorable experience for all of us. Overall, it was a wonderful trip, and Backwater Ripples Kumarakom will always remain one of my favourite places. I truly feel this is a property I would love to visit once or twice again for a peaceful and refreshing stay. Thank you once again to the entire team at Backwater Ripples. The whole experience was amazing. Sijo as a naturalist and Adithya as ayurvedic spa expert did their job amazingly and I will cherish it for a long time. The guest experience team led by Sindhu Nair was helpful and friendly and took care of everything. Starting from checkin to check out we didn't find any issues. All staffs were amazing and definitely will make a pit stop soon.
