Lovely house , location, breakfast everything!

Chris was wonderful and kindly upgraded our room and told us about the hotel´s history.

All good

Quiet surroundings and premises spotlessly clean with parking.

The atmosphere of a care home, general decor antiquated. Bedroom dark and claustrophobic, glass chandelier too low over one side of a hard bed and fittings in the bathroom meant the top of the toilet was part of the basin - teeth cleaning etc it was not hygienic. The 'Award Winning' breakfast was a meagre self-service 'continental' affair with wafer thin cheese, mixed meats looking past their best, overcooked croissants etc honey crystalised in little plastic pots.

We needed somewhere to stay in Poole and this place filled that need

My husband was recovering from a broken hip and couldn’t get up the stairs. The owner put us in an available ground floor room at e tra cost which was fair but it was damp, cold and unaired so we were not comfortable in spite of the fact he put the heating on . T he breakfast was a cold, continental breakfast , rather thin and disappointing.

Continental breakfast. Very wide selection, good quality

Would have been ice to have a cooked breakfast

The room was beautiful and thoughtfully presented and the staff were fantastic!
