The Swan Inn

We were a group of family and friends meeting for a family event. The staff were really helpful arranging a meal (wonderful food!), several rooms and an amazing breakfast the following morning. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend.

The view

Mattress was very uncomfortable and needs replacing. Dirty cups left in the bathroom from previous guests and the bath had dirty brown marks- not been cleaned properly. Only one hand towel provided

The staff were friendly and thorough as well as knowledgeable. They were very somewhat slow to clear our table, at one point we had 3 rounds of drinks worth of glasses on the table for 5 people. We waited quite some while for someone to come and take our food order. But that was all, everything else was spot on.

The constant bell chimes were distracting for sleep, very disturbed night, the earplugs were a lovely idea but didn't work for me.

Good food and a lovely bar. All the staff were particularly good.

The person in the room next door left their TV on until 4AM and the walls are not particularly thick
