Allington Manor

Small, very friengly owner, clean well equiped room, although quite small, minimal hanging space for 2 if you stayed for several days. Excellent breakfast. The room was advertised as accommodating 3 people but it was only a 2 person room, no room for a third bed.

We recently hosted a private dining event at Allington Manor and it really was perfect. Leo & Amy are wonderful hosts and their hotel is beautiful, even more so after its recent redecoration. Catering courtesy of Damein Greslin was top notch, wonderfully tasty and fully gluten free. The service run by Lesley and her team pulled together the evening beautifully and ensured the whole event went off without a hitch. In sum, believe all of the reviews - Allington Manor really is as good as people say it is!

We stayed in the Footman's room in the attic. Good size, nice shower. A bit fresh in January until the heating came on. We saw inside the Lady's Room - looked very nice. Good breakfast. Very friendly.

The property looked wonderful at night with all the decorations and Christmas lighting.

Great stay in a very well maintained historic building. Made a nice change to the typical hotel stopover. Absolutely spotless which must be difficult considering. Would definately recommend - breakfast good but note that there is no restaurant dining but local pub and alternatives relatively close by.

Fantastic venue for my daughter's wedding. Rooms were immaculate and spotless. Staff were determined that the weekend went off without a hitch. I would not hesitate to recommend Allington Manor as a wedding venue. Thank you for making the occasion so special for everyone.

We had our wedding at this beautiful Jacobian Manor House! The gardens are stunning and well kept and the decor and furnishings of the indoor property are just so beautifully done and well restored to be in keeping with the age of the house. We hired the rooms the night before my wedding for my bridal party. Each room was beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The hosts and owners of the property. Leo and Amy along with their day of wedding coordinator Lesley were nothing short of amazing and accommodated our every need at a reasonable price and to a high standard. They were both so intrapersonal and really took the stress out of everything. I recommend hire of this property for anybody who wants an elegant, smaller wedding.

Really enjoyed our stay here and it was great to stay in a hotel where there were absolutely no negatives, long time since I've been able to say that. Beautiful building that was wonderfully adorned for Christmas.

We had our intimate wedding weekend at Allington Manor and it was the perfect weekend! The manor itself is full of character, each room unique and beautifully furnished with period furniture. The breakfast was great - tasty cooked breakfast, and on the wedding day itself, a lovely continental breakfast brought to the bride's bedroom (to ensure I didn't bump into my husband-to-be before the ceremony!) Leo and the team looked after us so well from early 'til late - thank you so much! I also used the Beauty Lounge attached to the manor to get my nails done the day before the wedding and for my make up the morning of - Amy was great, thank you!

Well where do I start…..Looking for a small intimate wedding reception look no further than Allington Manor. Leo is an incredible host, who provides a beautiful venue which allows for incredible photos in a historic setting. He is there for any questions and ensures that you will have a lovely day. Lesley who hosts the day, did not stop from the minute she arrived to the minute she finished, she is a credit to Allington Manor, and I can’t thank her enough and the rest of the staff on the day for making mine and my now husbands special day even more special. The wedding breakfast provided by Damien the chef, was presented beautifully and every guest said the food tasted amazing! The 6 six rooms were all very warm and decorated to the highest standard. The breakfast that was provided for me and my bridal party the morning of the wedding was lovely and fresh and the breakfast the following morning had quality ingredients that tasted amazing. The log burner in the front room to the gardens at the rear make for a lovely and unique wedding setting and I couldn’t have been happier with the decision to book Allington Manor.
