A very different experience from a guest house or hotel .our room was built in 1660 amazing manor House lovely village and a nice pub nearby perfect.

We had a wonderful one night stay in the Butler's room after our trip to Lincoln. Loved the original furniture and features at Allington Manor, a step back in time with all the modern comforts like a very comfy bed and a glass of processco available from the bar on arrival. Leo was very friendly and helpful suggesting places to visit locally. We had an evening meal at The Welby Arms a short stroll away, simple decor but delicious food.

My husband's first impression of the property was brilliant "I hope it's not haunted". We received a warm welcome from Leo and we were delighted with our attic room. It had everything we required and a generous tea/coffee tray. The only disappointment was that the free standing bath wasn't quite big enough for two. Cooked breakfast the next day and was spot on for us, as we're not that hungry in the morning so the portion size was great. Though they had yoghurt, fruit and cereals on had for those that wanted a bit more. We will definitely be returning at some point, just to try out their other rooms.
