"Amazing building"

Incredible location and building. Staff and owners very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Rooms are so steeped in history it is an experience rather than just a hotel stay.

"Excellent value in beautiful historic house "

Beautiful historic country house. Excellent value for money….would happily pay more if there were a few little additions but it works as is really well. Great nights sleep - super comfortable bed & bedding. Lovely far reaching village views. I’m short so the top floor rooms with restricted height were fine for me but if tall definitely opt for the first floor rooms!

Generally a great stay, extremely friendly owner and staff, reasonable breakfast, a few simple home comforts missing ie, no hooks in shower room, no shelf in shower, shower head didn't fit properly in holder, no sockets beside dressing table etc, but mostly an excellent stay.

"Amazing historic manor house."

I stayed for one night during COVID restrictions. It is a beautiful historic building that retains all of it's character (some parts from 1400's I believe). I had a warm room with comfortable bed and good TV. All you need for an overnight stay.

Great stay. Good friendly atmosphere in historic surroundings. If you find stairs difficult do not take the "maids room or the butler's room"
