House Jelena

Es un lugar tranquilo y muy limpio. La anfitriona es muy amable. Es un sitio con una excelente relación calidad precio para unos días o para una visita cómoda al parque nacional de Plivitche q está a sólo 3 minutos en coche. Cerca también buen restaurante recomendado por ella. Perfecto!!

Good place to stay when visiting the plitvice lake and the surounding village.

Jelena was a very comforting and welcoming host...made us feel right at home :) She was very helpful, her place very homey, clean, and comfortable... Her home just a short, easy, 6 minute drive down the road to Plitvicke Lakes.

Great Location close to Plitvice, Parking and nice host who recommended a route for us in the National Park

It was a nice place to stay, the lady was very helpful, it had full cooking facilities and coffee and tea.As my reasons for staying here was to get to Plitvice Lakes N.P early in the morning the man drove up €10 it is a 4/5 km up hill.(early not many people their)

I only needed a quick place to stay near the national park and this was a perfect pick. I got lucky and there was nobody else in the other rooms so I had the bathroom to myself. It was very quiet and in a charming little farm town which I loved. The hosts were friendly and I didn't need much so no real comments there but check in and out was easy. The only issue I had was it was a bit difficult to find the place because my GPS wasn't quite accurate with the address given so maybe giving some instructions on how to get there from the main road and what to do once you get there (I was knocking on random doors until I found the right one) would be nice. Otherwise a great place to stay.

Very clean and comfortable with a shared kitchenette. Jelena and her family were very welcoming and had excellent advice on local attractions and restaurants. It was fun to sit on the balcony and watch the daily routines of the farm. The local restaurants were busy but delicious and although not really close we found them a nice walking distance. The road in not lit all the way but we never felt lost or worried en route and the dark areas only made the stars shine brighter. What a wonderful relaxing abode. By car we were only minutes away from the park gates, the Bat Caves and Slunj/Rastoke - all very interesting attractions.

We stayed here 1 night while visiting the park. Very friendly people, clean, well kept home, good location to the park. Unfortunately we have 2 complaints though. The walls are thin, and we could easily hear the other guests talking. And there was a no drinking sign posted in our room (as well as the shared kitchen space). I can completely understand the no smoking sign. But 2 adults sharing a bottle of wine in any room they rent should not be prohibited.

We arrived to the parks early morning and then drove 10 minutes to House Jelena. The place is run by a family and they're outstanding. Very nice and helpful. They have parking space and they're not far from a very nice restaurant down on the main road (only 20 minutes away walking). Breakfast was good and the room was super comfortable. It's in the middle of farm country and is very quiet.

This guest house is slightly off the main road to Plitvice from the North, easy to get to and close to this national park. The room was comfortable, the staff very friendly, the breakfast fairly large (separate fee), and the area very quiet (if you don't mind the rooster in the morning). We would come back here.
