AR Diamante Beach Spa & Convention Center

The new renovations at the AR Diamante are great, the hotel is comfortable and clean, the staff are professional and the food is excellent. Cannot recommend it enough.

Fantastic event,great hotel in excellent position a short distance from beach ,shops and land train also 2 supermarkets opposite.staff were very friendly and food good a bit more variety would have been nice but overall good quality and tasty. Rooms have been upgraded since my last stay so very modern and a new bar in reception area.

The staff at the AR Diamante hotel in Calpe are extremely friendly and professional, even at busy times. Alberto and Jose deserve a special mention. They take care of customers at the reception bar with tremendous friendliness!

Best hotel I have stayed in for a long time. The choice of meals were amazing. Couldn’t recommend it more.

We had a really nice and restful week here. Great hotel set a couple of streets back from a lovely beach. The hotel was very clean, the room had everything we needed and a large balcony. We booked half board. Breakfast was really nice, we swapped our other meal between both lunch and dinner, good choice available at each. The staff were all great, service was good. Shout out to Mark, a server in the buffet, he was friendly and helpful. My only slight niggle, we attended lunch one day and brought our drink up from the pool bar. The person on the door at the lunch buffet said it wasn’t allowed, not too sure why, seems strange not to be able to take drinks purchased at the property from one area to another. We’ll definitely return.

We were looking forward to returning to Calpe after 25+ years and after researching the area again, chose the AR Diamanté Beach Hotel and are so pleased we did! I cannot thank or praise this hotel and their staff enough! We booked with TUI and e mailed the hotel prior, to our arrival requesting a room no higher than the 5th floor as my husband does not like heights and it would impair the enjoyment of our holiday. I received a response from them saying the request had been sent to the hotel. On arrival at the hotel, no request had not been received, and we were allocated a room on 12th floor, which caused my husband a great deal of stress. Step in Carmen! She quickly arranged another room for us and ensured we had everything we should have in a superior room. The service from the hotel exceeded our expectations.The staff were amazing from the cleaners to the kids entertainment, including bar and reception staff. Room was modern and clean with an excellent shower! Bed was very comfortable! We enjoyed our stay so much we have booked again for June next year! I was impressed by the hotel on our arrival and it didn’t disappoint with our room. We were on floor 3 with pool and a small sea view. However the rooms are quite noisy with doors banging at all hours which I can’t understand as they are self closing doors! The noise from the entertainment also comes through the balcony doors if you want a night in. The food was adequate as usual not red hot but the salads and prawns were nice. Restaurant staff are nice and friendly and tidy up your table quickly. Reception staff don’t seem to have a lot of knowledge about getting about the place, I asked the best way to get to Altea and Benidorm and was told to go to the tourist centre! The entertainment was at an open air theatre across the road whilst we were there but was moving indoors just as we left. It is at 22.30 and lasts till 24.00 we found it a little too late for us but it was busy. It was all in Spanish though (yes I know it’s in Spain but we don't speak Spanish) we went a few times and you get drinks from the waiters. If you want sun all day then you play musical chairs. I didn’t mind this as it was quite hot.
