The breakfast was wonderful and the location was great for our weekend getaway

Upon arrival, the manager was incredibly helpful and polite. He explained about the hotel and where my room was located, and when breakfast hours were. They had a huge dispenser of water with ice and fresh lemons in it. On first glance my room looked nice.

The room I was in was super dirty and the bathroom was worse. I turned on all the lights when I arrived, this allowed me to see the entire room. I saw the carpet was a different color by the walls than the middle. I put my foot down, then pulled it back, sure enough it was dusty and dirty. I went to shower and found the a large part of the wallpaper above the shower head was gone. There was only wall and some caulking spread around the gap in the ceiling and wall. The floor of the tub was so slick I caught myself slipping more often than not. Along with slipping, there was zero conditioner for hair. The toilet paper holder was so far behind the toilet it was like a new yoga pose to reach it! And then, what if the people reaching for it didn’t have clean hands? I could see prints on the holder. Nasty!
