Comfort Suites Huntersville near Lake Norman

The location was nice.

Manager lied multiple times about getting housekeeping to come change the sheets. We had asked Saturday morning twice for them to be changed and he said someone was coming. No never showed up. Returned to the hotel at 2 and the room sheets was still on the bed. Went to ask him again and he said they haven’t came yet? And I told him no. He said he was getting someone to come. Left out again and show back up to the room and old sheets are still on bed. I went back to the front and the man was gone for the day and a lady had to deal with an issue that wasn’t for her to address. The sheets had mold on them or black spots on the sheets and that is why we wanted it changed. We were told numerous times that this would happened and nothing was ever done. The lady told me her manager doesn’t understand English well (he spoke clearly to me and understood me as well) and he didn’t explain to us that no one was coming because they only clean rooms every 3 days and I was never informed that once by the manager.The manager said he would get housekeeping to change the sheets. The bathroom had mold on the shower curtain and the walls were peeling. I’ve stayed at a lot of comfort suites and this wasn’t far the worse. It was old and outdated but the pictures did not look like that online prior to booking.

Ot was the smell of Marijuana at 3am that was not good.

It was conveniently located for me

Entire room smelled like urine. Bathroom was not properly cleaned. Headboard had i dont want to know splattered/streaked all over it.

The smell of Weed/THC is not very pleasant. Standing at the front counter for 10+ minutes without someone acknowledging me is an issue. The smell of the rooms, TV in the current room I had didn’t not work, I was on the 3rd floor, I was informed to bring all of my bags back down stairs just so I could Be directed to another room. Why wouldn’t someone just switch out the TV, heck I would’ve done it my self. You just have to feeling no one really cares. The drink machines are inoperable and there are only 2 working ice machines.

Breakfast was adequate.

I did not like anything about this hotel

The sofa bed had crumbs and no sheets to put on it and and the water from the bathtub went all over the floor the toilet did not flush when i asked for a plunger the front desk lady said i had to go get it and it was so flimpsy and i needed maintenance she said thy were unavailable and she put us on a different room which smelled so musty and there was no toilet paper in there also the sofa bed did not have sheets either it was such a bad experience
