Erakor Island Resort & Spa

Beautiful location, the island itself is lovely and the staff are very friendly

Our room had a broken shower and broken fan. It was still clean and comfortable but was a bit run down. There was not much communication about things going on at the resort and it was hard to get all the information. The reef was lovely but the visibility is not great

The island was beautiful and the staff was wonderful. It was a little piece of paradise. We had an issue as we were provided the wrong key and couldn’t get into our room. It took a few hours and in the end the staff helped break into our room, so there was no spare key. But the next day we got a free massage voucher, someone fixed the window and we got the correct key.

The tour desk was very helpful, although I messaged multiple times about booking diving for the day after we arrived and was told not to worry and to book upon arrival. We went there first thing when we arrived and the diving shop had already closed, so it was disappointing to miss out on 2 dives despite messaging on multiple occasions before we arrived. The blinds in our room were ripped off and missing so it was very bright all day and night. We constantly were woken up very early and struggled to fall asleep.

So much to do and see on the island. Great location

Reasonably easy to get to - approximately 30 min drive from the airport, and then a 5 min ferry ride across Ferry to and from Erakor Island - easily available Check in was straight forward/ easy Small island - everything close together - the playround, the beach, the pool, the bar, reception (did not have to walk long distances to get there). It has a very 'homely' feel to it Availability of kids club and various activities - e.g. craft, weaving, volleyball Free water sport equipment to use WiFI was strong in the reception/bar area, and in the room. Wifi not available/strong in other areas

We made a last minute booking - garden view room. We did not find the mattresses particularly comfortable. The air conditioning did not work that well when we were there. However it was not really an issue as temperatures were mild. Fans turn off when you switch off the light.
