Van der Valk Hotel Nivelles - Sud

The hotel was under construction, so the restaurant was in a bit of. a temporary shape (tent setup which was really hot during the day, which prevented us from using). Aside from that, the staff was extremely accomodating, and very helpful, which made our trip and stay extremely enjoyable!

Hotel nice but needed air con as weather was very warm and my room was over looking pool.

It is a very convenient hotel for my business trip. Well located and very well staffed. Small attention could be made during the breakfast to make sure the plates and cutlery are replaced and the machines are working properly. Otherwise very comfortable stay.

Breakfast only average. Mediocre hotel created by add-instead. ................

Dont miss the buffet dinner :- cannot be beaten Dont annnoy me by demanding what is unnecedssry

The hotel has a welcoming, casual and relaxed feel with large communal bar/reception area. I stayed in building 1 room 113. Spacious room, well appointed, good accessories, good wifi, nice outside terrace and small outside pool. TV only worked for some channels. Restaurant is large with a varied menu and a really nice outside eating area but it's quite expensive, the service is poor (slow, inattentive, manager disinterested and doesn't speak English) and the food average at best. There is a Pizza Hut opposite which is good, quick and the staff pleasant.

It is a great place to stay for, beause we have friends close by but also close to Brussels for fun. However on weekends the hotel is very busy with other late functions with smokers standing in the front of the door way. At 3 am they are very loud. The best rooms overlook this.

had requested room-with fully opening window ,plenty of sockets in the room ,good tv etc

every time we came into the hotel, there was an unpleasant smell in the lobby!!!!!
