"Easy to get to. Good position. "

10.0

We had a lovely stay at Dar Zman. I'm really glad it was on the fringe of the medina because it was easy to find and the taxi could take us right to the door - no lugging bags through the medina. The beautiful medina was just out our door. The room (Sophia) was smallish but comfortable and nicely decorated. The water pressure wasn't great but that didn't bother us.Roof terrace was good for me to sit in the evening and smoke a cigar.

"Lovely Budget Option"

8.0

The room was a little cramped without space for my luggage, but it was quaint, quiet with good breakfast and friendly staff. Would stay there again.

"Overall Good"

10.0

Great place for its price. Awesome Location. The hotel thumbnail looks rather deceiving but the hotel is very nicely themed, clean and gives a good vibe. Has a terrace with an awesome open view. Nice staff (Speaks English) and willing to help.

"Small Riad- Close to parking"

6.0

The riad is located in the Medina, but on the main road, so you can park right across the street- A BIG plus. The rooms are small- staff indifferent, but the breakfast was good and the location was good.

"A great place to call home in Chaouen"

8.0

I spent two nights here and thoroughly enjoyed my stay! The staff were very accommodating and kind even when I was up for breakfast at 8:00 a.m. on the dot. They had the breakfast area set-up and was ready to serve the drinks and food as soon as I sat down. In terms of location, I couldn't ask for more. It is close enough to the medina without worrying about tourists barring the entrance. It is also close to the entrance so that if you'd like to do to the rest of the city, you won't have a hard time finding your way back and forth. My only complaint is that the temperature of the shower was hard to control, going from really hot to very cold. Also the tv didn't work but I didn't mind since I had no plans of using it but some people might be picky about that.

"Good hotel, but payment procedure is confusing"

8.0

The hotel is located just at one of the gates to the medina where a taxi can not enter. So, if you have a large luggage, you should not stay at a hotel deep inside the medina. This hotel was very clean and a room rate was reasonable. However, the payment procedure was confusing. When I booked a room through Hotels.com, it was stated that the room rate would be charged by the hotel through my credit card. When I checked out, however, the hotel requested me to pay in cash (the hotel does not accept a credit card), claiming that the statement I received from Hotels.com was not true. At the end, I had to pay the bill in cash, since it seemed that the amount was not charged to my credit card I registered at the time of my booking. When I stayed at another hotel in Chefchouen, the room rate was properly charged to my credit card. So, you should be aware of this point.

"Inexpensive riad close to everything"

8.0

I stayed here for 1 night and the riad staff was very accommodating. I told them, I needed to leave at 7AM the next morning so they made me breakfast at 6:30AM, when breakfast usually starts at 8AM. Good location and good value. They lent me a hair dryer and the showers were very hot. The roof terrace is very nice as well.
