The Views Monumental

We enjoyed our stay at the Four Views Monumental. The pools were great. Our room was clean and more spacious than we expected, however the air-conditioning was unreliable. The shower in our room could benefit from a little renovation, however it still got the job done. Please note, safes are available, but there is a daily fee to use them. We were there for 4 days and only once did we have an issue with the parking lot being full, which meant we had to wait until there was an open spot to park. The location was super convenient for us and very walkable.

Good breakfast. Some rooms are outdated.

Four views has a good overall standard of accomodation. I had an issue whilst staying which informs my score for service as ok rather than higher- the issue was resolved but involved too much input from myself over many days of the stay,akinge wish I'd not raised it and was left feeling some staff were not entirely sympathetic, despite outward politeness. However, we are all under stress in these difficult times and the issue was unrelated to essential issues such as cleanliness and quality of accomodation. Both of these were good and hotel clearly prioritising safety without losing sight of guest comfort. Guests awaiting covid test result when tested at airport as I was due to not being able obtain my test result in as last minute booking. The only area that this less true was the restaurant. Disposable gloves provided for use in the buffet but no guidance to state this or requiring it so had to figure it out yourself and no interaction from restaurant staff for guests not using them.Also, tables not being cleaned as efficiently as needed, a shame as occupancy low when visiting and staff not overstretched. Reception staff generally helpful, friendly and kindly maintained same room when extended stay.Sadly a further issue on check out as charged for extra nights which I'd already paid for. Altho dealt with, no apology offered and a cursory goodbye said.Shame as, even when there are issues,I always try to maintain understanding and good relations and appreciate same in return

We were lucky to have a sea view room. The drawers in the room were damaged, but other wise it was a pleasant stay.
