Great location, friendly helpful staff and good value. Clean throughout, with special mention of pool and garden maintenance staff who work very hard.

Hotel is clean and easy to access. Close walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Booking tours available right outside the hotel at Lido tours.

the place is very professional, receptionist are very polite. Place is close to everything. I had gotten a mountain view room but i would highly suggest to get a ocean view!

The check-in process sucks in that it doesn't matter how long you have been traveling, how tired you may be since they require you to wait until after 2:00pm to get a room. This sucks. They they don't tell you about the drip drip charge of paying in cash for a key to the room safe. No you can't charge it to the room or pay for it with a CC. You must pay in cash. Feels like a rip off. Someone is pocketing the cash.... 15 Euros a week.

Good 4 star hotel in the centre of the tourist district. Convenient for both tourist buses and local buses and has a multitude of restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk. Only downside is the fact that it is on a very busy main road.

A surly greeting from the Reception Staff. No porter to assist with luggage. No help with pointing out the lifts. A charge of €15 for a key to the room safe wheareas in all hotels we've stayed in before it is taken as a deposit and returned on leaving. Friendly cleaning staff. Room clean and tidy and very comfortable with the sea view. Breakfast as always was very good with lots of fresh fruit. Overall disappointing after our stay there 5 years ago. I wonder if the 4 views Baia is any better?

This freshly refurbished hotel has comfortable spacious rooms and excellent facilities. Funchal is a 30-40 minute walk or a very inexpensive bus ride from close to the hotel. We had a sea view room facing South and with a pleasant balcony.

I stayed at the Four Views Monumental hotel for 11 nights and was very pleased with the quality of the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very enjoyable with lots of fresh fruit(cold milk for cereal would have been better!). There was always enough sunbeds and umbrellas which was great. Maybe a little more variety with the entertainment.
