"Very Good"

The room decor. Very smart colour scheme.Large, modern all white bathroom, good shower. Big breakfast included beautiful scrambled eggs which were replenished in the tray every 15mins. As was the bacon, hash browns and sauted vegetables. Porridge was on offer and two very nice jams.

The building and surrounds are old and will require a lot of expense to restore. The dining room and library are quite dark and dimly lit and the Xmas tree, tea lights and plastic flowers should go and be replaced by attractive table lighting and brighter upholstery.V

The location is perfect, close to everything. Lots of restaurants and public transport. Excellent hot breakfast selections. Staff was wonderful. We had an easy late checkin experience. We asked for a quiet room and the room given was indeed quiet.

Our room was a bit small and cramped. Can't blame them though. It was a quiet room as we requested. All the quiet rooms are in the back.
