Nice hotel, breakfast was ok and rooms are clean but dated.

The overall experience in Gabija Hotel was very poor. We stayed at their best VIP apartment which is also the most expensive one and we also had an extra room for the wedding day. All the details have been agreed prior to the stay. To begin with, even though we booked the most expensive room, we did not get a parking slot which apparently you have to book separately (no one informed about that). Once we came an hour later than the check-in time, the room was not ready yet which is why we were late for the massage. The weekend package included a sweet welcome gift together with a bottle of wine which we did not find in the room. Later we found out that it was taken to some other room. Air conditioners were broken in both rooms (one could not be turned off and another one did not work at all). Room keys were constantly broking off and needed to be taken to the reception. At the restaurant, the staff was not informed that we were supposed to get a different menu based on the package bought. On the check-out day, reception started calling in to remind us we needed to check out soon even though we had agreed on a late check-out. We also took our clothes for ironing and got it back with different hangers and some of it was even forgotten and returned the other day. Finally, when I told at the reception that the stay was of poor quality, the answer was ''I understand'' - no questions asked :) On the brighter side, hotel is situated in a good location, VIP apartment is very spacious, good breakfast.

Good location near the big park and city. Staff was welcoming and spoke good english. Room was basic, clean and quite spacious. I have to say the bed was super comfy, one of the best hotel beds i have ever slept.. and there are plenty. We visited during Covid virus and breakfast was under no-buffet rules. Still quite good amount of food and variety, coffee was tasty and also liked that the was fresh fruits. We had lunch at the restaurant and I will strongly recommend you to try also! I had the salmon and it was just perfect! Spa is modest but clean, floor is very slippery! There is finnish sauna, nice heat and you can also throw water (as you should), steam sauna also nice. Aircon not very effective, decent enough but i would like a bit more cool effect on a hot summer day.

Very good located, clean and comfortable rooms. The breakfast buffet could be more various and modern. I think we will come back :). Pets friendly, it is very important to us! Staff was quite friendly.

perfect location, great services at the reception, nice and big room with comfortable bed. would need to improve cleaning in the bathroom.
