Heritage Hotel Hallstatt

We stayed at this property for 3 nights. Hotel is right next to the boat jetty. Check in was smooth and pleasant kudos to Elena . house keeping staff efficient and had a smile . The Restaurant staff ( dinner) need to learn to smile 😃. The service in the restaurant is average food menu needs uplifting. The second and third day had dinner at the adjacent hotel (Seehotel) food and service was excellent. And service with a smile 😃..

Our family of four arrived early, and Simon was most welcoming--he embodies the best and sets the standard for what "great" looks like in the hospitality industry. Although our room was not yet ready, we were offered an upgrade to a room that was an unexpected but wonderful surprise. We felt treated to the best and enjoyed unwinding, seeing the charming and beautiful town, and exploring the historic sites from this exceptional hotel which is the center of town. We also enjoyed the sauna--so much so that everyone wished we were able to stay longer to enjoy it again. We absolutely would recommend this hotel to anyone. We hope to be back again.

Great location and amazing view! We specifically booked the Lakeview room in the main building. . Breakfast was good and the food at the restaurant was delicious, especially the risotto. The family rom we had booked was large and very comfortable.

The rooms, especially the bathroom is old and dated. There were a few bugs in the room. The floor was sticky
