Iberostar Selection Hacienda Dominicus - All Inclusive

The staff and customer service was amazing and I believe they were the highlight of the entire trip! Amenities were nice and my room was amazing and clean! Dinner options were a challenge. It would have been great to have more options to make reservations for dinner, but that was difficult. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay.

Could be better. The property is nice, rooms clean and comfortable, a/c could be better. Nice pool and the beach area is beautiful although small. Food was bland, nothing tasted good, except desserts those were good.

The beach is beautiful. Lots of waves. The hotel is gorgeous, but the ac in the room wasn’t working. They tried to fix it several times , they didn’t follow up with us. It never works properly. The room was extremely hot. The service wasn’t the greatest. And the food at the restaurant with reservations was not good at all.

Everything was excellent

This resort is located on the shore of a fantastically beautiful beach. The resort is very good, all the staff are working 24 hours a day (bravo to the staff manager) to make your stay in the resort carefree and unforgettable. The rooms are updated and very comfortable. The food in the restaurant is varied and very tasty. Thanks to all the bartenders for great cocktails. The only thing I would change about this resort is the SPA. I bought 2 massages and I could also use the sauna. The massage was perfect, the saunas are very small and dated. As I see it, the entire spa building needs to be redone. Perhaps I would make a two-story SPA and make the steam rooms larger and for joint visits of men and women. I am very glad that I chose this resort for my vacation. I will definitely come back next year and recommend this beautiful resort to everyone.

Properties so nice

Amazing beach, friendly staff, great variety of food and activities.

Our stay was from April 8 to the 15th . My husband and I were very dissapointed, when we got into the room mid afternoon it was very warm, we called front desk to complain they said they would send someone to check. It tooks a second call to get a technician to come and check the AC. he said he fixed everything that needed to be fixed and room should cool off in a while. this was in the evening time, we had to spend the night without the AC in a very hot climate, we had to again call in the morning and had to wait for another tech to come and check. The other tech said AC was broken which the previous tech should of realized it. We had to be moved to another room. We get to the other room and no water in the bathroom faucet and shower !! we again had to call and complain and wait for a tech to come and fix it before we could use the shower and bathroom. Hotel itself is beautiful and beach and pool are phenomenal but they need a lot of maintenance done to facility. Food was okey but they served the same things with only a little variance at the buffets for lunch and dinner!! they also need to work on this. Another thing, this is a hotel in a very hot climate and all through the hotel fans are always off in the lobby and everywhere you went you had to ask someone to turn on the fans which was ridiculous. I have been to othe Iberostar hotels and it is the reason why we chose this one but we were dissapointed and don't think we will be going back.
