JOIA Bávaro by Iberostar - Adults Only - All Inclusive

My fiance and I stayed at joia bavaro from March 25th-29th. We had an amazing time! Neither of us had ever been to an all inclusive resort before and we were amazed by this one! The moment we got there, we felt pampered by the staff. At check in they immediately sat us in comfortable chairs, brought us a juice drink, and began the check in process for us. We opted for the butler service and we are so happy we did because our butler, Ray went above and beyond for us, as well as our butler Valentin. When my fiancé got a bad sunburn, Ray brought us some aloe Vera, and also some other items that we had forgotten to bring with us. We also had a very knowledgeable concierge named Nahomi. Other wonderful staff members worth mentioning would be several of the bartenders, Tobias, and Bruno. The drinks were very well made and the bartenders were very knowledgeable on mixology. There was also another member of staff who goes by black mamba who did an amazing job of keeping the fun going! The food at the resort was also fantastic! The buffets were wonderful, and the dinner restaurants were also fantastic! The evening entertainment was also really good! We attended a queen show in the theater that was so much fun, and on our last night we got to see an amazing fire show!

The beachfront resort is impressive in every way - service is outstanding, beautiful grounds are immaculate, the pools are spotless, lots of food and drink choices and the oceanfront room we had was excellent. Bavaro beach is a long sandy strip of resorts and popular public areas. Caribbean seaweed washes up overnight with the tide but it is raked early mornings. JOIA is highly recommended!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Joia Bávaro Resort in the Dominican Republic. From the moment we arrived, everything felt seamless, relaxing, and thoughtfully taken care of. The grounds are beautiful, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the overall experience was exactly what we were hoping for. The food and service throughout the resort were excellent, with plenty of variety and consistently high quality. The staff truly go above and beyond to make your stay special, and it shows in every interaction. A very special shout-out to our butler, Jesus, who made our trip unforgettable. He was attentive, kind, and always one step ahead—whether it was helping with reservations, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed, or adding those thoughtful touches that made us feel truly cared for. His professionalism and warmth made a huge difference in our experience. We would absolutely return and highly recommend Joia Bávaro to anyone looking for a relaxing, well-cared-for getaway. Donna

Check-in: Outstanding - We entered the lobby w/greetings & a smile from everyone we encountered. Smooth & efficient. Butlers: Excellent: (Armando & Jesus) were outstanding. Both supported each other & checked on us daily. Always available & delivered on all of our needs w/ a smile & a “is there anything else we can help you with?”. Bar: Excellent: Ery was high energy & charismatic & always put a big smile on our faces. Everyone on his team provided outstanding service & you could tell they enjoyed what they do!! Special shout out to the servers & maintenance workers that delivered consistent & over the top service during our entire trip. Great: best shows for us: Tenors, Circus, & Queen were great!!

Our vacation was next to none. First off I would like to extend a huge thank you to our butler's Cofe and Reynoldo, they connected with us daily to ensure we were happy with everything and they were a whatsapp away if required. We were also lucky to have them as my husband needed medical assistance (nothing to do with the hotel, food etc.) and we received immediate help from Cofe with getting us next door ASAP to the clinic there. It made things a bit less stressful. Kudos to whomever does the hiring, EVERYONE employed here is extremely friendly and top notch. Rooms are quite large and the cleaning staff do a wonderful job daily. There is also an endless supply of help, we never waited long for anything, there was always someone to take your order, take plates away, fill your wine glass or coffee cup. Food is all great, bacon is perfect, I never get crispy bacon at resorts! Pizza was a favourite at the pool. There seems to be something different there daily. Activities are endless although I only joined in the pool ones at 11:30 and they were different everyday, I also loved the Zumba instructor Kaitlyn, at the pool, great music and easy to follow. Grounds are constantly being maintained which are immaculate. This hotel is smaller which I always choose as easier to get around and get the lay of the land quicker. Beautiful well kept beach is right there with LOTS of seats and palapas also lots around the pools, but they seem busier than the beach. The shows at night were all great we especially enjoyed the Queen and Circus shows but they are all entertaining and just long enough, Silent disco was super fun. Every night has some form of entertainment at the lobby bar. We joined most nights. This place offers a bit of everything if you want it its there but if not you can just enjoy the beautiful surroundings and all it has to offer. My husband and brother in law throughly enjoyed the golf course which is just a short cart ride away. If we decide to visit Punta Cana again it will definitely be at this resort. As beach lovers my wife and I came at JOIA Bávaro DR for the first time last February. We were not disappointed. The staff all around the resort is devoted to pampering you. What is outstanding is the cleanliness everywhere (restrooms included). As well for the food it was a convinced experience. Also, what a good feel to begin your day with the kindness of «Carlos» at the buffet for breakfast and having him again sometime at dinner time. He is so nice. And we don't want to forget «Carolay» girl that welcomes you almost everywhere at different restaurants. And seeing «Camillo» at the beach towels cabana every day and later the beautiful smile of the beach waiter «Eliezer» we can’t ask for more… Also, we don’t want to forget «Black Mamba» & «Pikatchou» with their entertainment team all week long… Nice team job guys! Big shout to «Blacky Chan» at Hashita restaurants. You make us feel welcome. And a big shout to one of the sympathetic chiefs at El Galeon restaurants (just don’t have his name). His eye contact from his workplace to our table with a thumb up in a way to know if our dishes are OK. Congrats to you, Chief! But now, here’s the best of the best… Our butler «Ray» What a nice lady. She is not an ordinary butler. She is a professional butler. She feels you and wants you to be happy and do things to make you happy... She deeply understands people and wants you to have a good time at JOIA Bávaro. She pampers you in a way that you just have to enjoy your vacation because Ray back yourself for everything that is left. Not too much… just enough… She was the perfect butler experience for my wife and I. We cannot say enough how we appreciated her kindness and devotion, all of that with a beautiful smile… We planned to ask for her when we go back… So, all in all, it was a beautiful time vacation at the JOIA Bávaro DR

What a wonderful place. We stayed at the Iberostar Selection next door, 3 years ago with our 3 boys and had a wonderful time. This trip was just my wife and me, so we wanted something a little finer. We scored! The service was beyond compare. Our personal butlers, Armando, Ray and Jesus were always there and catered to our every request. Joel, Lebron, Marlon and all the wait staff were very pleasant and attentive, continuously asking what they could do for us. Samuel and Alby at the prestige center were also delightful and knowledgeable. Our housekeeper Maribel made an outstanding display with roses and decorations to celebrate our 34th anniversary. We highly recommend this resort if you are looking for unparalleled service.

Our concierge Bienvenido treated us incredibly well during our stay at Joia. We loved the hotel. It is a very peaceful place perfect to enjoy and relax.
