Black Hawk Motel & Suites

This place is a hidden gem! We had an amazing time...very clean, well kept and the staff were very accommodating. Walking distance to the shops, but not in the hustle and bustle of the strip. There are a variety restaurants close by, also has delivery options if you just want to hang by either pool and not go anywhere.

Motel is clean and comfortable. Within walking distance of downtown. But far enough away to not be in the middle of it. Grocery store very close by. Very nice to have parking right outside the room door. Family oriented with a nice pool and play area in the middle of the ‘U’ shaped area of the motel. Repeat customer. Will be back.

Blackhawk is one of two of our favorite places to stay when visiting the Dells (the other being their sister property diagonally across Broadway); their entire facility is clean and modern and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Blackhawk has all the amenities we could ever hope for. We've even noticed a few updates since or previous visit (and there are probably more subtle changes that visitors might not even notice) which tells us they're actively working on always being on top. We'll definitely be back!

We love this motel and go back every time we're in the area. It is so clean, quiet, convenient. The rooms are great, roomy with everything you need. Beds were extremely comfortable. The staff are so friendly and efficient. Lots to do right at the motel. Close to the main street without having to deal with all the noise. We travel quite a bit and this is our favorite place to stay!

I recently visited family in the Dells and had a wonderful stay at this place. The property is clean, well-maintained, and has all the essential amenities you need, including a washer and dryer on-site. It's conveniently located near the town, with great prices for the night. I especially loved having a Kwik Trip right across the street—perfect for a quick morning coffee. I’d definitely stay here again!

Not knowing anything about the area, we stayed here because of great reviews, location and reasonable rates as opposed to the resorts. It has been family run and expanded for decades, and they have renovated and kept up the property. We stayed in one of the two bedroom cottages at one end of the campus, and it resided in a lovely walkable and quaint neighborhood, near a small park, set back from the main road that goes through town. It was spacious, clean and private. There are also motel rooms on another part of the property but we didn’t explore those. Highly recommend especially if you prefer to avoid the massive, commercialized and expensive resort lodgings.

We had a great girls trip and celebrated a friend's birthday. Brad and Teena go above and beyond in helping make our stay perfect. We don't stay anywhere else. We will be back next June. Thank you!
