Great hotel, clean, well maintained. Good food, nice buffet breakfast and choice of evenjng meal. All staff were lovely and friendly. Close to centre of Riva.

"We had a lovely week"

Great location in the old town of Riva. 5 minutes walk from the lake by the tower, surrounded by great independent restaurants and shops. Good breakfast buffet and lovely roof terrace.

The bedroom was a little cramped - we've stayed here before and had a much larger room...

"Disappointing Hotel & Food !"

We had a weeks stay at this hotel so I will start with the positives. The room was basic but adequate. It was cleaned well every day. The staff were young polite & helpful. The negatives are that the beds are rock hard & we had to ask for spare quilts to lay on (which still didn't help). The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything even snoring ! There was hardly any room in the wardrobe for your clothes. The food was atrocious extremely small portions and very bland, overcooked or undercooked food. We spoke with the Manager regarding these problems but she was very defensive and not at all understanding or helpful. The hotel is situated up a hill so bear this is mind when arriving with your cases. This is advertised as a four star hotel BUT IS CLEARLY NOT!!!! There are lots of lovely hotels in Riva this is NOT one of them.
