Beautiful gardens but Hotel was a little too quiet. No room for me for dinner but the breakfast was fantastic. Cottage room comfortable but not attached to hotel. So yes, whilst it's well manicured, beware the rough!

Lovely old character hotel, overlooking Muirfield Golf Course. Dog friendly, which was a bonus. Gourmet food served, even at breakfast. Efficient attentive staff at all levels. Garden will only get better as summer approaches.
