Hilton Garden Inn Waldorf

Very uncomfortable bed. Black out Curtains do not close all the way with a sheer curtain behind and a bright streetlight shining in the window all night. Very worn hotel, blow dryer pulled off the wall, was not screwed in and towel rack in bathroom had fallen on the counter before we checked in. Not worth the price.

Good service and clean. Pay to park is ridiculous and most places offer a free breakfast.

I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Waldorf MD location. Upon arrival to the parking lot, you are greeted with large signs scattered everywhere with QR codes on them to scan with your phone so you can pay for the privilege of parking in the parking lot to the hotel that you are already paying to stay at. When you scan the QR code, you must agree to the lengthy privacy policy of what this 3rd party parking fee collection system is going to do with all your personal information before being allowed to pay the $10 per day fee to leave your car in the parking lot. When you go to the front desk you are reminded by the attendant that you must pay each day before dusk or your car will be ticketed. Don’t worry though, there is another QR code sign on the front desk just in case you missed all of the signs littered throughout the parking lot. This hotel is not in a congested major city area where there is no room, in fact, the parking lot of this hotel is huge, much larger than most hotel parking lots. Nothing was disclosed about this parking fee when I made my reservations. It’s just a shady way for the hotel to extort extra money out of its guests. I will not be staying here again!

The front desk check-in officer was friendly and informative. Graciously accommodated early check-in and my room floor level request.

The bed was just remade from the previous guest and linens not changed. I know this because there was hair left in the sheets and a mite or tick that i killed on the comforter. The curtains were also off track.All other aspects of the room were clean.

Food, hospitality, and the environment being clean very well.

Unfortunately, there was a group on our floor who partyed until after 3 a.m. They didn’t care about how loud they were and that the rest of us were trying to sleep.

The menu for food options is extremely limited—literally 10 choices for dinner. Our first room had a malfunctioning thermostat; the young woman on front desk was excellent and tried to get it working and then moved us to a nearby room. The carpet was old and stained, and the desk was wobbly when I touched it. I also found some dried food on the side of the dresser. I have stayed here many times, but never again.
