"Superb - staff and food excellent"

10.0

A bit late in writing a review as we visited in August 2024 (busy life!) but we had a wonderful holiday with another family last year. We hadn't done an all-inclusive for a few years and were a bit reticent but needn't have been at all. The food was great, loads of choice, loads of fresh fish and vegetables etc and of a consistently high quality. The best thing about the hotel is it's staff though. They couldn't do enough for us, were incredibly helpful and courteous and did a fantastic job in a busy hotel. Montenegro is a stunner too, try and get out to see some of the country while you're there!

"Bucket list trip that exceeded expectations"

10.0

Just want to start off by saying a huge thank you to the staff in this hotel. We came here as a family of 3 (young toddler), and they have been beyond excellent. They were so so kind with our little boy with one resteraunt lady in particular, coming up to him daily making a fuss over him. As a mother that’s what you always wish to see. The staff went out of their way to print us documents, booking taxis, dealing with toddler accidents etc. The hotel room was just what we wanted and more - block 1 / floor 5, modern clean room and away from the noise. The views from every area was stunning and picturesque. Only cons: (Unrelated to hotel) Visiting Kotor. I found Becici / Budva to be much nicer and quieter, and enjoyed these areas more than our day trip to Kotor. (We are a family that enjoy day trips over pool days too!). We had no balcony so couldn’t dry our clothes in-room. We didn’t get a full brief when checking in as we went for lunch first. So after returning, we weren’t offered towel cards, map etc until asking for them the day after. Montonegro is by far one of my favourite countries by now, and despite being a person that doesn’t re-visit somewhere, I’d come back in a heartbeat!! Specifically to this hotel too as it was perfect.

"5 star people just about 4 star Hotel"

8.0

Stayed as a couple here in June 2025 It is a big hotel and the grounds are kept to a high standard We had some issues with our safe and air con however the lovely Suada who is a Customer Success Manager managed to resolve this successfully. It was a lovely week Here are my Pro's, Con's and advice Pros Staff-almost all of the staff go out of their way to help and have a smile on their face Food-all of the food we ate was lovely and on a MASS scale. Shower and water pressure was very good Con's The airport (I know its not the hotels fault but you need to be aware of it.) its organised chaos that is a real pain No irons in the rooms-they say for safety however everyone who has kids has irons-I think they need to provide irons or at least give them out when requested rather than make the guest use the paid service No kettles in room Beer was flat. The only decent beer was outside the Grand. A bit noisy round the pool-however much quieter on the beach Hotel would benefit from an Adults only area and a separate restaurant -the buffet can get very samey Advice Bring some beach shoes The sand is scalding hot and getting into the water is tricky with all of the stones I know I have mentioned a lot of Cons compared to Pros however I would revisit the hotel

"Beautiful views"

10.0

Such an amazing hotel in the most beautiful setting. We were 3 friends in our 50’s and had booked a sea view junior suite. We were given room 5304 which was huge and had the biggest terrace and stunning views of the sea. The sofa bed was so comfortable and there was loads of wardrobe space for all of our clothes. We were in building 3 which was the Terrace building and newly refurbished. The reception staff were some of the best I’ve ever encountered and helped us with all our queries. The all inclusive was excellent and food was delicious. They had a live cooking station every day and changed the fish & meat choices daily so always something new and that meant food choices did not get repetitive. The drinks were ok (ask for Gordon’s & tonic else you’ll get the local gin which was not nice). We never had an issue getting sunbeds no matter what time of day although we chose to go to the beach most days as it was so beautiful. We paid 20 euros for 3 sunbeds & an umbrella per day. We found that you could use the all inclusive bar near the beach and take your drinks to the beach (nothing like drinking an apererol spritz on the seafront). Budva old town is a beautiful 35 minute walk. Go to building 3 level 4 and just through the car park is a tunnel that goes under a building. The walk is on a promenade following the sea all the way with shops and bars and restaurants along the way. You can also walk all the way to Sveti Stefan along the beach (again tunnels so you don’t use the road). Definitely recommend a day trip to Kotor. A taxi from the hotel cost us 45 euros and we did a lovely boat trip (Google Vale boat tours). We were lucky with the weather and had it rained there are no indoor bars (only paid for but you do get 50% discount so the pubs coladas we had were 4euros and worth the money). I will definitely come back as soon as much to explore in the area but the hotel was so good we didn’t want to leave.

"Fabulous. We will be back"

10.0

Amazing hotel and holiday. So much space and grounds. We were in the block near the entertainment so yes we could hear it at night. But we would have booked a non family hotel if we were concerned about the noise of people enjoying themselves. All inclusive was great. I recommend you go out to eat a couple of nights though as the restaurants on the beach are lovely too. All inclusive drinks really nice.

"Enjoyable, relaxing stay (even as a vegan!)"

8.0

We stayed here for a week for a late honeymoon. We told them we were staying to celebrate this and we had a bottle of fizz and some decoration in our room to celebrate / welcome us. We stayed in building no.3 which we were slightly apprehensive given the reviews but it was absolutely fine. We were above the stage where evening entertainment is, we didn't take much of this in and tended to go to the pool bar on the evening for somewhere quieter and with a steady supply of mojitos. The pool / gardens area were lovely, I would say it was necessary to get up early to get a good spot! We had one day at the beach, yes it was €15 for a pair of sunbeds and parasol, but you got the All Inclusive drinks privileges at the beach bar - result! As others have said: recommend beach shoes, the shop around the corner sells them for €10 a pair! We didn't explore Becici but went to Budva Old Town twice, after getting reception to call a taxi (fare approx €7). We walked back once, via the tunnel and path along the beaches which I must say wasn't the best walk. For food: I thought it would be useful to give my experience staying here as a vegan to help any other vegans considering staying here. There is a good amount of vegan food here at all meal times, it got slightly repetitive after a week but I really enjoyed the food. The labelling at the buffet was inconsistent and on a couple of occasions inaccurate but I raised this with the (customer experience manager) who offered assurances and sought to help. I am sure most vegans travelling somewhere new are used to being vigilant though! Food for vegans: Breakfast: soya milk is available, muesli and lots of fruit. Also a hot option which was generally some beans, potato and pepper / courgette. Bread and jam too. Coffee from the espresso machine was great, the other machines no. Lunch: in the pizzeria/ snack bar: no pizza, but I understand they could make one. 2 different pasta dishes, wholemeal rolls, chips and lots and lots of salad - and I discovered Avjar Evening Meal: As lunch: but had vegetable paella one night, lots of roasted vegetables and potato based foods. Was one dessert which I didn't love but lots of fruit. I've added a couple of pics of plates of food I ate, and a view from inside the hotel grounds and hotel beach. All in all, we had a lovely stay here. We found it relaxing and the hotel was clean, staff were pleasant and helpful.

"A great place to stay"

10.0

This hotel is fantastic for a family holiday. Great location, we have a 1 year old and there are plenty of places for shade but also open spaces to sunbathe. The staff are incredible and friendly. We haven't had a bad experience from anybody. The only down side is other holiday makers who are pretty rude but that's standard wherever you go..don't let this put you off. The beach is a couple minutes walk, plenty of pool options available. Plenty of places to get drinks and food available throughout the day. Kids club which we didn't use but a park which is catered for kids up to 12 years old id say. The food is varied which sometimes in an all inclusive you worry about the food choices but it's been great. Always something different every night. We haven't got bored after day 7. Rooms are always tidy and clean every day. As I say the staff are wonderful. Montenegro in itself is absolutely stunning. If you haven't been before then the time to come is now. Is not full of tourist but I can imagine it's only going to get more popular. I honestly do not have a bad word to say about the hotel, the food, the staff or the resort. Stunning views through. The only down side is we took a boat trip which was a nice boat trip but we had to take a bus back. We was on the understanding that the boat dropped us back off and wasn't told. Others on the boat were not told either. The boat trip was organised by an external company inside the hotel grounds and she didn't tell anyone that would happen. With a 1 year old you don't want to take a 50 minute bus journey back after a full day of sightseeing. Again nothing to do with the hotel. A 5 star holiday and I'll recommend anyone to visit.

"Прогулка по Черногории"

10.0

Хороший отель!!! Удобное расположение, вкусная еда. Неплохой выбор спиртного. Огромная территория. В СПА есть турецкий хамам, сауны хорошего уровня. Крытый бассей и джакузи нам не понравились, вода должна быть теплее. Мы жили в новом корпусе там где СПА, думаю это лучший корпус отеля. Всем рекомендую!!!

"Hot room"

6.0

They didnt have air condition because it is availlable only summertime june july. I didnt notice that Hotels.com site at all. Maybe my bad. Room was very hot because weather was hot. So we had keep door open also night time. Someone smoked all the time somewhere nearby so our room was some kind of smokery. You should ensure airnconditioning if it is hot outside. I fun from reception but was old so noisy that was impossible to use. Room was nice BUT air conditioning Balcony hasnt any sidewalls between rooms. So there was not any privacy between four rooms. Not so nice to same terrace with other hotel quests. This is only upper level but its good to check before reservation
