Iberostar Waves Cozumel - All Inclusive

Service, Restaurant schmutzig. Dieses Hotel hat maximal 3 Sterne verdient, Familyhotel US Standard. Strand nicht wie auf den Bildern, Meerzugang über Felsen, nicht weisser Traumstrand. Schnorchelspots eher schwach.

As mentioned in other reviews the resort grounds are beautiful. We stayed in a pool side room and highly recommend it for its convenience to both the pool and the beach. The short walk to the main dining areas is enjoyable for both the well manicured grounds and the wildlife you can encounter My wife and I found the various birds around the resort to further enhance our experience And, guest services was very helpful. Christian Ocampo in particular was quite informative All in all a very nice vacation experience

Came to dive. Dressel Divers were great, professional service. Great dives. Been to Coz many times, but this is our first time at the Iberostar. Food and service at the bars & buffet were top notch, no complaints.

Had a great trip to the Iberostar Waves Cozumel. The food was delicious. Rufino was great at helping us set up a snorkel tour that picks us up right at the dock at the resort. Would stay here again

Truly an awesome place and experience, the whole family had an amazing time. Love the wild life, the groomed grounds, the food, the service, we all felt very well taken care of.

Iberostar waves cozumel has been such a fun resort to spend our vacation at. The staff here has been above and beyond friendly and attentive to anything we needed. I had a medical situation and they helped me through the process to get the medication I needed, shoutout to Cynthia! We loved the pool games and entertainment every night. The drinks were great and they are not stingy with alchohol. I wish I remembered all of the staff names because they were ALL wonderful. We enjoyed talking to Mario, he gave us some great ideas for places to see when we come back. The only downsides to the resort is that the rooms are pretty basic, very clean, but not fancy at all, and the food didn't blow our minds. It was ok, like a 7 out of 10 (besides the Smokehouse, it was a 10/10). Overall this resort was great with beyond beautiful landscaping! We would definitely come back:)

Really lovely stay, this is a beautiful complex of chalets with a number of all inclusive restaurants. The beach is just lovely with a pier where the diving boats dock. So many fish it’s truly unbelievable. All the staff were amazing, really friendly and helpful all the time, and the buffet food was really nice with different themes every night. The dive centre is also amazing, really well organised with different dives every day. The only issue was that the chalets did smell a little damp, symptom of being so close to the beach. Overall though this is an amazing place to stay!!

Chalets did smell a little damp upon arrival, but i suppose this is a symptom of being located so close to the beach

We spent a week here and really have no complaints (except for the tourist trap at the airport that try to suck you into purchasing excursions from them, just say no thanks and keep walking) it’s relatively a Short drive to the resort from the airport and port ferry. Great laid back tropical serene resort. It’s a Small resort so it’s very easy to navigate. And never a concern with leaving beach chairs unoccupied. Food was fresh and amazing, with a change up in food every day. Plus a food shack at the beach area. Reverse osmosis water stations are everywhere. Recreation events were amusing and fun. The pool is divided by a bar with seats on both sides. Kiddy pool is great for littles to cool off in. Pool floaties are first come, we always found one to use. The Lobby’s live entertainment was a great night retreat. Rooms were adequate for their use. Most of our time was not spent there. Rooms were clean and kept. Porches were a nice addition for relaxing. Many excursions available thru front office booking. Recommend the 4 drop Snorkling excursion. Alberto was tremendous help with and questions we had. All staff was top notch… always kind, smiling, helpful, and accommodating. A big Shout out to Caesar the host for the buffet area and his team. He is a jolly man with a big heart! We must highly recommend massages at the spa too, Clean, quiet and exceptionally good. Family resort, kids are welcome and they have many activities for them. There was a bit construction remodeling, but no way to avoid that if the resort needs updates. Would definitely visit again!
