New Olympic Motel

Smelt like cleaning products. Dimmly lit, clean bathroom, odd soap dispensers but ok, only ABC on the TV, air conditioning needed maintenance, someone outside coughing and spluttering till late, tidy, private, close parking, quick check in/check out, very close to shopping centre.

On arrival I was told after requesting a ground floor room that I would have to pay a extra 10.00 a night to have a ground floor room. I am disabled and find stair difficult to climb with luggage. I find this very discrimative against people with a disability. I will never stay at this motel or book with Expedia ever again. I intend to take this further with the right authority's.

Handy central location. Beds are good. Pillows need replacing, and no vent in bathroom, so toilet smell lingers and carries into bedroom.

Rooms were very dated, but clean and tidy. Great location, easy to walk to shops and restaurants.

Unless we scored the worst room in the complex I am at a loss as to how this place gets such good reviews. Dis-organised check in. We did book on a web booking service. Room had a reno some time ago. Nothing seems to match anything. No hand soap. There was a container present but was empty. Plenty of mould on ceiling in shower and mouldy window in the room. Mattress is firm which is fine but pillows are like rubber. Uncomfortable night's sleep. Blanket was undersize for the bed type. Shared the single packet of two buiscuits provided.

The manager was rude and condescending to my partner. The rooms appear to be lacking in upkeep as there was unopened mail in the room. Also, the in-house information book advised us to speak to reception staff regarding ordering breakfast and evening meals. We were informed that the book was 3 years out of date. The manager was also very unaccommodating with our requests for a ground floor room as my partner and I both have hip problems.

Rooms are tired decor. Managers are located away from the rooms - there was loud music from one room and then 2 arguments in the middle of the night from a second room. Managers didn't seem to know. I had to call the police when a window was broken and guest took the argument out into the open courtyard. I was worried that property / cars might be damaged

Excellent motel rooms with competitive price. Best for business travel. Very comfortable rooms with all basic amenities, as good as your own bedroom. Free high speed internet and foxtel added more value. Staff was very helpful.

From the reception to the bathroom everything was just super satisfactory. New Olympic Motel made our stay very special. Rooms are luxurious, Staff was so kind and caring. Location is very convenient.
