Courtyard by Marriott Tulsa Downtown

This is a beautiful hotel centrally located and within walking distance to everything I needed. Free airport shuttle was a big bonus. Staff was friendly and service was outstanding. The only negative was that it was hard to control room temp. Otherwise loved it and would highly recommend.

No one cleaned my room in the entire week. I had to find the cleaning lady and ask her to do my room one day as she was leaving floor. She said I was not on the list. I also tried to fix this at the front desk with no success.

I like hotels in renovated historic buildings since they have more character than the usual chain hotels, & Marriott & Hilton have an ever-growing list of such properties. However, the 1st floor building entry IS NOT the actual hotel entry since the lobby is on the 2nd floor. You enter into a poorly lit, partially unoccupied area of mostly closed business locations, that is dark, unattractive & off-putting. If we had not known a hotel was actually located on the upper floors we would have walked out. Add some plants, lighting & furniture to make the area more inviting. Same with the bar area which is also poorly lit & uninviting. Next visit I will request rooms that FACE the street since the windows will help brighten the rooms. Other rooms face a dark interior courtyard with windows that need regular cleaning. My room was attractively furnished & nicely sized, as was the bathroom, which is not always the case in such renovated historic properties. All the staff were welcoming & helpful & would not hesitate to return again. Directly in the center of Tulsa's Downtown & walkable to everything.

We stayed the first night because we couldnt find anywhere else to stay. We barely made it before they ran the end of the day. They were nice enough to discount our price since it was only for a few hours. It was a nice place so we decided to stay there the other 2 nights, also. We will be staying there again. It was convenient to downtown and restaurants.

I had read the reviews on hotels.com talking about having no hot water but my assumption was that this was an anomaly that wouldn't persist to my stay. Unfortunately, I was surprised to not have hot water in my room (511). My buddy who was also staying the same night on a higher floor had no problem with his hot water so it seems to be localized to floor 5. I'm trying to be fair here. I was on a 10 day motorcycle trip and was mostly staying at hotels that were sub $100 but I wanted to be downtown in Tulsa so I spent extra. The room was very comfortable although the right side of the bed sagged a little (I just slept on the left). I've given it 2 stars because 3 stars is apparently, "average". I'd expect better from a courtyard so I'm going with slightly below average.

Old building, small rooms, no hot water, no view, put next to elevators, not a great visit.

First room we were placed in the AC didn’t work and it smelled like mold. They immediately moved us to a different room. Star was friendly and great.

Great location. Didnt need a vehicle. Close to everything including BOK center. Highly recommend.
