Amritara The Poovath Beachfront Heritage, Fort Kochi

Attention-Reservation Manager. I Felt the Hotel was Over Priced for the amenities it Provides. There was No Coffee/Tea Maker in the Room. All Modern hotels have it,for that Price. Shower was too Complicated to Operate. The Bath Tub should have been Fixed to the Wall and Cemented to the Ground,Also the Bath Tub should have had a Shower Curtain. As a Result Water fell on the ground. 'No Hot water'. There was Nothing to See around the Hotel, Except the Beach which was Crowded and with Pebbles, so No chance to Swim in Fort Kochi. There should be a Big Table for Guest to Write Or Check the internet, But instead a Small Table where Two Plates & a Pot of Coffee for Two Could Not Properly Fit, in the Room. I Didnt see anyone Visiting the Restaurant for Diner in Poovath Hotel Compared to Oceanic. Staff were Nice & Friendly, No doubt. Overall the Hotel should Not Cost more then 70$. Thank You.

This is perfect location, away from Crowds, and close to beach. Rooms could be a little cleaner,but this is India after all. They let me check in earlyon two occasions, and have full time security., Big rooms, loads of hot water and easy office staff,

Problematic location and quite poor morning service and food choice

The service of the reception - high standard. The hotel sits by the Dutch cemetery may not be trivial to everyone (like me) and should be noted before check-in , One should make sure the view from the room is ok. Breakfast - variety as well as service needs to be improved.

Nice hotel. Our room was just two double beds pushed together though instead of a king.

There are cheaper hotels with the same rating as this one, but overall it is a good hotel. Clean and friendly staff. A little pricey for Cochin, but for comfort and no hassels, it is perfect. My only complaint was th einternet connection while free was weak. They need to upgrade their Wifi.

Stannade två nätter på detta hotell i samband med en dagsutflykt till Munnar. Bra och lungnt läge intill stranden i utkanten av Fort Cochins lite mer livliga kvarter. Mycket hjälpsam personal som bl a hjälpte till med att ordna en riktigt bra bil och chafför till vår utflykt.

Ein sehr schönes, altes Gebäude. Sehr schöne Zimmer und guter Service.

Good stay with small surprises like A/C malfunction and cemetery view with a glimpse of the ocean. Yet easily recommended. Excellent location and staff. Will stay again if visit kochi again.
