The pool was closed for maintenance. In the original search it indicates pool but once you book you get a message saying the pool is closed for maintenance. It would be better to have this indicated on the original search!

Place has no bathroom mirror. Dog found weird gummy on floor, which I thankfully got out of his mouth. Lampshade on upside down. Carpet is terrible.

Overall stay was comfortable and quiet / the downside was the swimming pool was closed for maintenance.

I forgot a toothbrush and they did not have any to give at the front desk. Also no bottle openers. Other than that no issues. Room was nice and clean.

We had a disappointing stay at this hotel May 14-18.... we booked in February and were not told that the pool was closed down. When we arrived, they told us we could use the pool across the way and indicated that an email was sent out regarding the pool closure and that it was written on their website. I have scoured the website and in the three locations where they discussed the pool as an amenity on their site, there is no information indicating a pool closure. we had a block of rooms as we were there for a dance competition and none of the other 20+ guests received an email about the pool closure. We suited up and headed across the way to use the pool at Wyndham only to find out that theirs was closed also. our microwave was filthy dirty upon arrival. I had called down to the front desk and ask them to make a note of the dirty microwave, asking them to clean it the next day which they indicated they would. In the five days that we stayed there, our room was cleaned twice and on both occasions, we received 2 pool towels. When I called down asking for more towels as there was 4 of us there, they said they were in the laundry, leaving 2 small pool towels for 4 of us. Every day we woke up there was garbage and dirty towels stacked all the way down the hallway. We had to call every day to have somebody come and empty our garbage for us. One working elevator that has a light constantly flickering. Once ice machine for the whole floor. One of the families in our block had to tape the ice bucket bag to the vent in her room because the smell of cigarette and pot smoke coming in was so bad their clothing smelled of it the next day. I wrote the GM (Walter Chai) an email and have yet to hear back. For the amount of money we spent, this was easily one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. Please save your money and don't bother. We come to fort every year and will never stay here again. Bad stay and bad customer service.

The parking lot is littered with garbage all the way around the entire property. The pool was out of order. There was no house cleaning in our room for the 6 days we were there. I had to go search for our own clean towels and toilet paper. On the 4th day I finally sealed the bathroom vent with a plastic bag and tape to prevent cigarette and Marajuana smoke from fuming us out of our room!
