Disappointed in 'cabin' room size as we had a stack of cases, movement in room challenging due to this. Expected a bit of a better room given the cost.

The biscuits provided were broken in their packets, kinda downhill from there. Glad to be heading to airport on departure.

The car park was pretty spacious, we were able to park our car and get ready to sleep in it.

As per description as we booked the hotel we informed them during working hours that we will be arriving late, however received no reply. Since we informed and the money was paid, we assumed no issue with it and proceeded to drive there, however once we arrived we found all the doors shut and no one around, no one informed via messages or otherwise about where to find a key for the late check in, so essentially just paid for sleeping inside the car, would not recommend it. Probably worth avoiding the hotel if it seems like checking in will fall after the regular work hours

The room was small but very comfortable. The evening staff serving at the bar were superb. It was a quiet evening and they lavished attention on me. The English breakfast met my expectations. I was travelling alone and on a walking tour, The only downside was that I had to take a taxi from the closest tow. The location was good but would suit couples with a car.

Excellent dinner and breakfast. Staff were very considerate and helpful especially by offering us an earlier breakfast time. On site parking. Heritage vintage main building with lovely dining facilities.

Very small modern room seperate to main building. Breakfast usually not available until 9.30 or later. Isolated location.

Pros: The staff were absolutely lovely – really polite and helpful. The service itself was faultless. The food was delicious and the atmosphere very calm, which made the stay more enjoyable.

Cons: Some things weren’t quite as expected. The description made it sound like there was a jacuzzi included, but actually you only get access if you book a more expensive room. The jacuzzi that was there didn’t feel very well set up. The “private bathroom” wasn’t exactly private – the glass doors from the bedroom had a 30–40 cm gap at the bottom. The listing mentioned a coffee machine, but there was only a kettle you had to fill up yourself. There was also no wardrobe or storage space for clothes or luggage, just two hooks on the wall and only one chair, even though it was a double room.
