Very good weather hot the room would be better with air conditioning

Felt like home. Very comfy helpful staff. Couldn't open the window for fresh air but a fan was provided to help.

Great value for money, very clean with better “ extras” than many four star hotels. Breakfast was excellent cooked to order and served with a smile.

Very good in all aspects Lovely room but very little daylight because there was a wooden fence within feet of the window.

Everything about the area and the guest house and staff contributed to a wonderful holiday

What a Gem I couldn't wait to get home to leave a review Lets start from the beginning the lovely hostess greeted me and carried my bag up the stairs for me which is a rarity. She recommended me a couple of places to wat in the evening which was helpful. The room was comfy and cozy and lots of selection for teas coffee etc . I would say the shower was a bit small but that's really picking as the room was lovely and the cleanest bathroom I have ever stayed at :) The breakfast was fantastic lots of choice cereals yogurts and lovely fruit pots made up . I chose the vegetarian brekkie and my God if was good everything was fresh and piping hot . If I'm ever in the area again I will book this place in a heartbeat. The hostess was a diamond and she ran the place well so kudos to her. :)

This is a beautiful guest house and I cannot find anything to criticise. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and well appointed with plenty of tea coffee and water complimentary in the room. Lovely breakfast with freshly ground coffee. Parking could be an issue though, as only limited space, and double yellow lines on main road just outside.

Excellent stay at Balincourt. Super hosts and a lovely environment

Spacious and comfortable room (great king-size bed!), however we had a serious issue with the water temperature in the bathroom of room 10. The water was initially very cold and took a while to warm up for the first guest. For me, it was boiling hot and the temperature knob was clearly broken as I wasn’t able to get it to an acceptable level. I’m very surprised nobody had ever reported this issue, but do think this is the type of things owners/housekeeping staff should check once in a while. Also, we felt the overall welcome was rather cold - professional, but not even a slight interest in our trip or who we are (surprising for a B&B!).

Excellent friendly service given by Ricci and Harms in their lovely Victorian building. The rooms were clean well presented and well stocked with everything you could want for a hot drink. Bottled water was available each day. Ricci's breakfasts were excellent!!. Fully rated the 5 star billing.The bus stop outside Balincourt gave a frequent service into Bournemouth allowing us to leave the car behind without the hassle of parking. Great three days. We will definitely be back for more in the future.
