Balincourt Guest House

Couldn't have asked for a nicer hotel. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was very comfy. Good WiFi. Delicious breakfast. Run by a lovely lady (and her husband we assume but we didn't see him). Only slight downside was that our TV only had a few channels but that didn't bother us.

Lovely place, nice a quite, traditional. Not a super big bath room, water pressure ok, Clean, comfortable bed, super personalised breakfast and friendly staff. Was not too busy so sufficient parking spaced on the Hotel terrain. Nice atmosphere and friendly decorations. Wifi worked fine and enough electricity plugs. (In bathroom on side of the mirror lamp, If mirror lamp is off that plug is switched off, not good for charging devices)

We had a very friendly welcome & enjoyable stay. They went out of their way to make our visit perfect.

Lovely warm welcome where we were shown to our spacious room. Nice super king size bed (room 9) good service tray with loads of teas and coffees, some biscuits, bottled water and little mints. We parked when we arrived in Bournemouth at the property at 10.30 even though check in wasn't until 4pm and wandered into Boscombe and then Bournemouth. Very comfortable nice sleep and heard no noise in the evening at all from other guests and black out curtains/blinds were briliant. Breakfast was beautiful with an array of cereals and pastries, had the full English which was very nice (didn't have one but omlette on another table looked lovely) bread for toast was very nice, posh array of jams and spreads for it, then fresh fruit pots and plenty of different flavour yoghurts as well plus fresh fruit juices. Couldn't fault anything at all hosts were attentive in everything they done. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Hotel was nice with a decent sized room and very clean. Staff are fantastic and very polite. Breakfast was lovely with a good choice. Would happily stay here again!

hot water was non existent even though the owner came to the room to help and ran a lot of water in the bathroom sink and shower. She thought it was warm. I said this was not acceptable. No warm water came out even though the tap was run for a prolonged period which is a waste of water. I persisted and had a shower which was not warm nor was it ice cold. The owner said it was a big house and takes time. A female employee in the kitchen said the boiler was done recently.. Not good enough.

A female employee said boiler was fixed recently. It is still not good enough and it is a waste of water to run water for a prolonged period and the water still is not warm. The owner said it is a big house. It is still not good enough. House and room and breakfast was good.

The hotel was excellent, very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable and the breakfast was superb
