Hotel Marguerite

In old town, opposite a car park (convenient and free at night!) and close to restaurants. Room quiet and comfortable. We felt let down by unfortunate events. We are a gay couple and had booked a double bed which the receptionist had difficulty understanding - - but resolved amicably. Room was left unlocked after servicing - receptionist apologized and said she would follow up. We checked out between 8 and 8.30 - receptionist was very friendly, but was not familiar with the computer, so this took a while! We would however stay again.

The room in this hotel was small and had street noise.

Excellent stay at hotel. Staff very friendly and English spoken. Location perfect just short flat walk into centre. Very nice clean room, very good value for money dinan is well worth a visit.

Friendly and great service and fabulous location. Rooms could do with tea and coffee, but the family room was great -interconnecting rooms. Would highly recommend.

WE ENJOYED OUR SHORT STAY AT LA CHALLONGE AS WE LIKE DINAN AS A CITY. FIRST STAY AT THIS HOTEL AND VERY PLEASED BUT WISH THE BEDS WERE MORE COMFORTABLE.

Nice manoire retro fitted into a semi modern hotel while retaining some original charm. Convenient parking right out front and an easy walk to restaurants or port. Lovely breakfast and excellent service as well as spotless room and halls.

Despite overlooking the market square/town car park we were surprised to find our room (No 3) was almost completely soundproof. We overslept! We found everything to our liking - no adverse comments at all. Dinan is a gem of a place to stay and the location of this hotel could not be better.

Situated right on the square - everything within easy walking distance. Staff very friendly- and on duty until 21:00hrs only. The hotel is old fashioned with dark corridors, but clean. There is a restaurant underneath and we were on the 1st floor - there was a marked smell of cooking in the corridor - but not the room. We had a problem with the people next door listening to the TV until past midnight - there are no staff on duty - and it ended with banging on the walls - which is not good. Overall the hotel is old fashioned and I have posted a picture of the warning sign if you don't take breakfast having ordered it, which sums things up really!

We could not have been more satisfied. Hotel location walkable to everything. It was very quiet with a wonderful helpful staff. Room was larger than most.

This hotel is in a great position right on Deguesclin square. Good value restaurant attached. Friendly helpful staff.
