The old town is worth a visit with lovely bars by the river. The views from the ramparts of the old walls are spectacular

Wonderful surprise for our one night stay! Room was very tastefully done with beautiful antique furniture and large fireplace.

The car parking arrangements were very difficult made almost farcical because of market day restrictions. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

We stayed at this hotel only one night, but had some of the best experiences of our travel through Brittany. The room was spacious with fantastic view of the city and a great large bathroom. The front desk hostess was very fluent in english and was very pleasant and informative. (Gave us great tips on places to eat). The hotel is located within stone throw from the old town. There are many nice restaurants within a short walk and the parking is right in front of the hotel. We will recommend this hotel without any reservations.

This is a very tired hotel, which desperately needs a refurbishment. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the location is great for Dinan. We booked it on the strength of some good tripadvisor reviews - but we found it shabby and quite depressing. Won't be returning!

Had a lovely stay at Hotel Le Challonge!! I went with my parents and my partner and we had a great time. The staff and management were very friendly and welcoming - cannot fault them. We took our small dog and he was very happy too! Only a very short walk to the main shopping areas and easily accessible by public transport. Overall a really good hotel :-)

Had a great 3 days in Dinan. Really is a lovely little town in Brittany. Lots of restaurants (been a few times to Dinan and never had a bad meal) in a Medieval backdrop, nice walks and lots to see. Can't fault the place. If you go down to the port there are some really nice restaurants down there also and boat rides, but be aware it is a steep hill (The Jerzual) back to the top. Keeps you fit though.
