Hotel Marguerite

Really handy for central Dinan. Lack of restaurant not a problem, plenty within 5 minute walk but the one under hotel is worth a visit. Parking opposite is plentiful and inexpensive, free overnight if you leave early, better to use the one opposite and to the right as it is pay on exit not prepay.

Dinan is a lovely historic town. Be prepared to walk a lot or to take taxis everywhere because there is no public transportation available.

Hotel very convenient for visiting the town as it is in the centre of Dinan opposite main car parks. Payment needed for parking during certain hours and no parking allowed there on market day (Thursday). Good restaurant attached to the hotel.

Perfect location, average hotel. Nothing wrong, nothing spectacular. About 100 ft from Dinan castle!

The hotel was overall very nice, but the walls were so thin that we could hear conversations and the television from adjacent rooms. While generally speaking this was not a problem, it did become one each morning at about 6 am when our neighbors woke up, conversed, and turned on their TV. Not the way to begin some vacation days.

Nice friendly staff. Room was clean and tidy and comfortable. Good value for money and ideally located. Ample parking opposite hotel. Was able to see car from our room. Fairly cheap to park. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Rooms are thoughtfully equipped. I asked for a quiet room and so sacrificed having a room over the square with a good view. Continental breakfast was available at a lower price than the buffet.

Dinan is a beautiful town, not yet completely overrun by tourists. Hotel is close to center, with convenient public parking in front. The rooms are clean. The staff are helpful. However, the breakfast is definitely not worth it. There's a great bakery closer into town center on the same road. It's a better option for breakfast.
