Hotel Marguerite

We stayed here for two nights while site seeing in Dinan and to see Mont St Michele and Saint Malo. It was a perfect location for walking to everything town (and were happy to find some places open on the Sunday we were there) and was an easy drive to see other sites. Our room had a tiny balcony that looked over the street and it was a nice to be able to have the door open and see the plaza. The room was clean, shower was nice and a big bonus for having an electrical outlet at the sink (most places don't). The wifi worked well and we had no issue parking in the spots right out front. This city was one of our favorites and it was great to be able to step out the door and be able to walk to dinner/shops. My only complaint was that my lost luggage was delivered there by the airline 2 days after we'd checked out but the hotel never told them we'd left and never informed me they had my luggage until I inquired. I would have assumed they would have let me know sinec they knew I was no longer staying there. Otherwise we had a nice stay and would recommend it to other looking for an affordable simple place to stay in Dinan.

This was our fourth stay at Le Challonge in the past twelve months. Our primary reason is that Dinan is the ideal meeting place for us and our Jersey based son and his family and we use Le Challonge as our base when this occurs. It is always a pleasure to stay there, the rooms are beautifully clean and a good size, the management is extremely friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is good value. The hotel's location is wonderful, opposite the main market square with plenty of parking except on Thusdays and the hotel ensure that all visitors are aware of this and what the alternatives are! The adjoining restaurant (Le Longueville) is excellent and we've used it every time we stayed at the hotel. I've never been sure if it's part of the hotel or a separate business but it's very convenient. We've already recommended the hotel to friends and will certainly be staying there again.

Rooms are big and clean. Heater for my room is not working well, not warm enough. The rest are good

Wonderful hotel in the middle of the walled city! close to everything.

This is a nice hotel in a very convenient location. We have stayed several times now. The staff is always very friendly and helpful, and they speak several languages (including English!). The hotel is just a few minutes walk to the older part of Dinan. It is easy to find on the main road through the town and you can park just outside the hotel or across the road in a large public parking area (but don't forget to pay).

We stayed for one night this week . Hotel right in the centre of Dinan , perfect for looking around the town, check in was easy room was comfortable and with a nice view , good shower . There is parking right opposite the hotel , so we would use this hotel again

The hotel is well located, easy to find and opposite a large car park. The room had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Although on a fairly busy road we didn't find that we were bothered by any noise through the night or early in the morning. We decided to have breakfast in the hotel which was served in a lovely modern breakfast room on the 1st floor. We felt that it was quite good value for money at 10 euros as there was a good selection of items on offer on the buffet . We also found that the staff were very friendly and helpful and their English was definitely better than our French!

Clean comfortable room. Lovely location. Problem with WiFi for duration of stay. No food after 9,breakfast adequate. Very pleasant and helpful receptionist who booked a doctor for our sick child when we arrived amongst other things. Overall very good.

Enjoyed two nights comfortable stay close to where we needed to be. Breakfast basic - probably better value elsewhere. Car parking could be an issue. We hoped for a little more for price we paid.
