Hotel Le Faisan Dore

Very enjoyable dinner, easy car parking. Good breakfast, pleasant staff. Good shower.

Small room, overlooking the road which makes it noisy well into the night. If it's hot you have to choose between ventilation and quiet. A ceiling fan or even a freestanding fan would be good. Not much in walking distance.

Friendly staff, good food and well located on our journey to the ferry at Cherbourg

The material used for the bedding. I prefer smooth sheets.

The breakfast was superb. Delicious coffee and croissants with lovely jam.

Thought it was all great.

We were moved into a ground floor room, with wet room shower, as my husband has mobility problems. Lovely garden at the back. Food was excellent.

Séjour de 2 nuits week-end Chambre lit double + chambre enfants communicante, parfait pour une famille Literie confortable, sdb pratique Malheureusement horaire de petit dej trop tardif (8h30 le week-end) donc nous n’avons pas pu en profiter (alors que c’est l’intérêt d’un hôtel versus un gîte) Et malheureusement du bruit à 4h du matin le dimanche pendant 1h (entre le couloir et dehors), pas la faute des gérants mais un manque de respect des autres clients

We pre ordered our breakfast, it was lovely. The dinner was outstanding. Probably the best meal I’ve ever had. The chef (I think it is the owner) must be a classically trained as the food was extremely high end cuisine. It really was beautiful. The waiter was extremely friendly and helpful and he explained the best he could exactly what everything was on the menu. The breakfast menu was written in English and French. It really was the most beautiful meal. I especially liked that on the back of the dinner menu, we could see the suppliers of the local produce and we could even see the full names of the suppliers. It was such a nice touch. The room was very comfortable and extremely clean, the entire hotel was absolutely spotless and decorated to a very high standard. The garden was very nice also.

I didn’t dislike anything.

Room really clean and spacious staff really friendly but…… dining experience was out of this would, one thing is for sure Catherine is a magician in the kitchen
