Biz konaklamadık. Aynı gün çıktık. Çünkü gerçekten temizlik problemi vardı. Bize ödediğimiz ücretin tamamını anında geri verdiler. Bu anlayışları için çok teşekkür ederiz.

Location is great. Right on the main square.

The apartment could be set up better and have more items for use, like kitchenware or a better kettle.

Waanzinnige locatie en een goed bed op de zolder. Wij zaten in het appartement op de 4e. Bestaat uit twee verdiepingen en een dakterras met prachtig uitzicht. Vanuit de woonkamer kijk je zo op het marktplein. Koffiezetapparaat.

Lift gaat tot 3e verdieping, redelijk koud binnen op badkamer na. Hoop losse stekkers en draden. Oude B&O televisies die niets meer kunnen uitzenden. Geen theezakjes in de keuken en slechte banken met een doek erover. Ingang via restaurant.

The apartment is large (three bedrooms) and the shower room (as pictured) was decent and clean. And, obviously, you don't get more central in Bruges than Markt Square.

Most of the the photos on the advert are clearly for another apartment. We booked expecting a bohemian atmosphere of faded grandeur – all bright velvet sofas, red wallpaper and the cosy wood-beamed attic room pictured. We got none of that. No bathtub either. The kitchen had a laminated sign in it asking for guests not to eat food in the apartment, the coffee machine wasn't working and the furnishings generally were old and drab. It wasn't made clear to us that entry to the apartment is through the restaurant of the same name, so we wasted a while trying to work out where it was, ringing on buzzers to the neighbouring buildings and phoning the number given (no answer) until we thought to ask if someone in the restaurant knew where it might be. All in all, I don't feel we got the apartment that was advertised and we wouldn't have booked it knowing what it was actually like.

We stayed here as a family — my husband, our 3-year-old son, and I — during our visit to Bruges, and I wish we had never chosen this place. Yes, the location is perfect, right on the main square, but absolutely everything else ruined our trip. When we entered the room, it looked spacious, but it immediately felt dirty and neglected. The towels were worn out and didn’t look freshly washed, and the bed sheets had strange stains on them — which we now fear were blood stains from bed bugs. And unfortunately, we were right to worry. The couch where our little boy had to sleep was infested with bed bugs. It was horrifying. A couple of days after leaving, we all started noticing itchy red bites that took more than a week to heal. That’s when we realized we had brought the bugs home with us through our luggage. We had to call a disinfection and pest control company twice to spray our entire house. We spent days washing every single item that came with us on the trip — clothes, backpacks, toys — everything. It was an awful, stressful, and costly experience that we’ll never forget. No family should have to go through this. This place desperately needs a deep cleaning and professional pest treatment before it should ever be rented out again. I strongly urge others to avoid it until serious action is taken.
