Posada del Angel

A lovely small boutique hotel very conveniently located for the centre of Antigua. Beautifully designed rooms and public areas and a roof terrace with a brilliant view. We had a great room downstairs - the pale green . Our friends had different rooms and had a few problems with electrics and water pipe noises and not enough light. The rooms are all different so which one you get could affect your experience! Also the WiFi can be very dodgy . The staff were all lovely .

This was the absolute perfect place for us to stay for my birthday and Valentine's Day! The service was great, the room was cozy and comfortable, and the entire place had the most beautiful charm. The rooftop terrace offered amazing views and was a great place to relax and chat. On top of all that, the breakfast was absolutely delicious! They served the absolute best omelettes and French toast, and the frijoles were very tasty. Overall, it was an excellent stay!

Amazing decor, the room was very spacious and the rooftop view was incredible! Even breakfast was delicious. 10/10

Leaving the room key in reception everytime we went out was not great

Warm staff, quality breakfast, turn down service, very good location - close to center yet steps away from the crowd/noise.

Having to ring the doorbell every time you want to get into the property doesn’t make us feel welcomed. Tips/service charge included in the bill that we weren’t told about at check in. I am all for the service charge, if I had been briefed up front at check in I would have tipped throughout my stay differently.

What an amazing place to explore Antigua from. The hotel is romantic and beautiful, with turndown service and hallways lit by candlelight at night. The morning breakfast on the rooftop terrace is amazing. It's a short walk to the city square and any of the major attractions. But most importantly, the staff is incredible. Going out of their way to take care of your stay and make you feel at home like family, not like a guest. I couldn't recommend Posada del Angel more highly.

Great location, beautiful interior, very friendly staff, everything was very clean. Great breakfast.
