We loved this hotel so much! We stayed in the large room on the second floor which had amazing views and privacy and was so beautiful while still being rustic and comfy. The staff was so kind, helpful, and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

The staff was quite friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and the room was very clean and comfortable.

It is a bit pricy, but you get what you pay for.

This is the first review we have ever left for anything. It is also probably our last. We are generally quite private people, however, this was an experience that was (hopefully) once in a lifetime. Firstly, the hotel was beautiful, the backdrop (aqua volcano) was unique and the food was great, but that is not the main part of the story. We were some place very special. Unfortunately, our trip was cut short because of a serious medical emergency. We would have been in a seriously horrible and difficult place if it was not for the manager Anibal (I am very sorry if that is spelled incorrectly). This was one of the most difficult days of our lives. When we told him where we wound up for our emergency he set up a transfer to a medical facility which he highly recommended. He then personally came to check on us at the clinic (we thankfully already left) in the middle of the night. If not for him, i am not sure we would have made it home so quickly. He spoke with us to arrange emergency transport at 3:00AM — and we were safely in Guatemala City to make our last minute flight with time to spare. For those not expecting a medical emergency, the city is amazing and Anibal gives great recommendations for food. We travel as much as we can. Most of our experiences are good. As far as hotels go, they are made of brick and mortar. This experience really highlights that the experience really comes from the amazing people inside the walls.

One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed in! The room had a huge comfortable bed and great shower in the bathroom. I only stayed one night but it was cosy and peaceful, away from the busy Antigua center - just what I needed after hiking. Staff were very friendly. Its not cheap but worth it if you want to treat yourself.

Wifi was intermittent and slow at times - not a major issue though. Personally I would have liked a few more options at breakfast.

I liked the place. Small and cosy. The room and bathroom were nice, and I like the patio seating in front. Really needed a writing table although I was just there for a night. Location is fine - not in the heart of the town but close enough. Breakfast was very good.

No writing table and the armchair in the patio in front was very uncomfortable.

Location does not look like anything on the outside, but inside is beautiful, rustic, and relaxing. Breakfast was better than average, but everyone was extremely helpful and friendly!

Faster hot water dispensing (it took a while for the hot water supply in the bathroom to arrive (a few minutes to arrive)
