The Bell Inn

It was clean, perfect location from train station, the staff were so friendly and beyond helpful. It is a quaint small place, quiet and I highly recommend

It was a treat to stay in such an old historical inn. We were surprised at the modern nature of the room and the new bathroom facilities. Everything was clean and comfortable. The room overlooked the beer garden, but the noise was not a problem.

The property asks people not to eat in their room - that was not our preference.

Although this is a lovely place to go for a drink it need some senior management behind the bar. There one young girl serving getting orders wrong and clearly wants some training on serving customers. There were 3 young males chatting at the coffee machine not bothering to serve at the bar. No one seems to be managing these staff while customers just had to wait and be served by the young girl who was getting the order wrong

Good location, nice (but small) room. No street noise. In summer possibly some noise from garden terrace, but hotel provides ear plugs & masks, just in case. We didn't have any noise.

Breakfast quite late. Green emergency exit light in the room all night.
