Amazing staff and breakfast

The only downside was that we were on the ground floor with our window either directly viewable from people on the patio or trash cans.

Lured by the Tolkien reference. Classic pub within the hotel serving a good breakfast.

Nothing wrong with hotel. Moreton-on-Marsh is one of the smaller Cotswolds locations, and near to the rest.
