The Conigre

It’s very beautiful and my room although small had everything I needed. It was very hot and they offered me a fan if a needed it. The staff are great, they make an effort to make sure that you are ok.

The car park is very small and was full when I arrived but a member of staff came out and said I could park in the disabled. The shower looked a bit dated but it worked fine.

Great location to explore Wiltshire; nice and clean; breakfast excellent; lovely and accommodating staff. Gave our family a mid morning check in to work around our afternoon plans.

Nothing. To note, no air conditioning but fans in the room for hot summer nights.

The accommodation was good, clean and room comfortable with generous tea/coffee provided. Also comfortable seat in rooms. Staff communication, approach were very good and friendly.

The bathroom facilities were not acceptable. 1. The sink hot water was dangerously hot and there was no warning sign as to this effect. To make it worst, the cold and hot water tops are not mix taps but separate. This made it very inconvenient as one is left with either very hot water or cold water. There is no walk in shower but just bath with shower hose. Fair enough. However, it was very frustrating once stepped into the bath. The shower either runs very hot water or cold water but refused to mix them to give the right temperature. Endless attempts to mix was to no avail but mixes well if running the bath. I am sure if these are rectified, it’s a good accommodation.

Clean and good value for my small single room.

I found the breakfast very disappointing. Everything was on a small plate, strangely piled on top of a piece of undercooked toast. The bacon was not crisp. No wholemeal toast was offered. Best element was coffee which was good.

Close to the town. Free parking.and ground floor private access

Didn’t get what was described. Bath,stove Poor lighting no power sockets each side of the bed
