Matsui Honkan

We have lived in Japan for many years and love to visit it again. Kyoto is always on the wish list and this time also the Matsui Honkan Ryokan. Let's make it easy for everybody. This is a very wonderful and elegant ryokan in a particularly advantageous location, with great rooms, nice and very friendly service and excellent food (although we only had breakfast.). Everything is also very well maintained, new and clean. So don't be put off by any negative comments. Most of them come from foreign guests who are in Japan for the first time and are staying in a Japanese room - perhaps also for the first time.

Great room, great service. Wonderful food. Near to everything central.

位置非常棒，订了含餐的住宿，早晚餐都很丰富，但是口味真的是因人而异了，其实可以选择附近的其他美食。价格也有些高了。但是服务和硬件非常满意

The location is simply great. The staff incredibly nice. It was like being at home in the center of Kyoto.

さすがに、料理が、売りだ言うことが、よく感じられました。 夕食は、大変、おいしかったです。個人的な問題ですが、食べきれませんでした。 途中で、少し、減らす選択もありではないかと思いました。

Had a delightful stay at this Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious. It’s also in a great location near to the Market and a short walk to Kyoto Station. I would highly recommend.

A "modern" ryokan with traditional experience but modern amenities. The dinner and breakfast were both delicious and plentiful, The staff were all wonderful and friendly. We went to the public onsen mid-afternoon and were the only ones there. Only about 2 blocks away from Nishiki market. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

距錦市場很近，路口有便利商店，距地鐵站稍遠一點點 整體環境服務尚可，小孩加床加價費用驚人！ 退房時間沒說清楚，導致全家手忙腳亂

Excelente noche, muchas curiosidades y experiencias. El personal es muy amable y el cuarto fue amplio para variar.
