とても素敵な2泊3日でした。 お料理もとても美味しく食べきれないくらいの量で大満足でした。

施設自体はそこまで大きくなく、温泉もこじんまりとしたものでした。朝夕の食事付きプランを利用いたしましたが、全体的に少しお値段は高く感じました。 しかし、立地等を考えると仕方がないようにも思えました。 何よりもスタッフの方々のご対応が非常に良く、浴衣に関することで少しトラブルがありましたが早急にご対応していただけました。 また忘れ物をし後日お電話をさせていただいた際も、非常にスムーズなご対応で郵送にて送っていただけました。 これらのサービスの丁寧さを考えるとお値段も妥当ではないかと感じることができました。 とても楽しい旅行となりました。ありがとうございました。

荷物だけ預かって頂き、チェックイン時間まで外出する予定でしたが、暑さで断念しロビーで休ませていただきました。 かなり早い時間に到着しましたが、スタッフの皆様にお気遣い頂き、大変快適に過ごすことができました。

While it may feel like a long walk from the train station, the location is a good jumping off point for getting to the many sites around Kyoto and the rooms and service are great. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a more traditional experience.

おもてなしの心から来る細やかな気遣いが随所にあらわれており、大変満足の滞在となりました。 施設は清潔でお部屋も綺麗、中には分かりやすい説明書きや、小物置き、延長コードなど痒いところに手の届くアイテムがしっかり置かれてました。 また小さな子供を連れての滞在でしたが、事前に子供メニューの確認や子供の椅子、おむつポットの手配なども確認させていただき、安心して泊まることができました。 お迎えお見送りも常に暖かく、またぜひ泊まりたいと思わせてくれるお宿でした。ご飯もとてもおいしかったです！ お世話になりました。

I actually stayed here in 2016. This was a cute little place to stay in Kyoto. They gave you free towels, which I still use in my bathroom, to this day. The room was large and the tatami bed was bearable. The “western” breakfast was really gross for a vegetarian (now vegan), like me, but that goes for all of Japan. They associate a “western” breakfast with raw eggs and big fat sausages. So I just ate the Japanese style breakfast and it was actually pretty good. I have pretty fond memories of this stay, although our trip to Japan wasn’t my favorite (bad food & little human bonding)...

接客、清掃など素晴らしいの一言。 旅館だから仕方ないが、やや別室の扉の開け閉め音が聞こえたのが残念。

The staff at this Ryokan were all very kind, smiley and respectful. We booked 2 rooms of 2 pax each but since only 3 of us made the trip (covid 19 fear), we requested to have our dinner and breakfast to all be served in 1 room. Understanding that it could be too tight (check out our meal!), they arranged for us to have our meal in another room instead! We declined as we didn’t mind so you can see how packed our table is. Although a kaiseki meal is served by stages, we had ours all fully served up but we didn’t mind. They kept greeting us when coming through to set our table and they were just so courteous. The meal was great and filling. After dinner, they came to serve us dessert and cleared up before setting our beds. The room came with a heater so it was enjoyable to be able to appreciate the zen garden in the comfort of the room. I’m not sure if it is because each room came with it’s private tub or Low occupancy but when we went down to the public bath, there was only 1 lady leaving and so we had the entire place to ourselves! How perfect. We had the Japanese bfast and they were so kind to call before sending the food so that gave us ample time to prepare for their arrival. Even until the time we left, they actually held up a banner to bid us goodbye. Very sweet and thoughtful. I highly recommend this Ryokan.

A lovely stay at this hotel. A bit small for us but we understand that is standard in Japan. Setvice is excellent . Staff is very friendly . Excellent stay. Good experience!
